Eventually I wanna install a turbo on one of my cars. I learn sooo much from videos like these. I don't have anyone to teach me, but I like to do my own work, cuz I'm not rich and car/truck troubles get real expensive real quick! Through youtube and videos like this I've been able to learn how to do a whole list of things I've had to fix on my vehicles. Some of the jobs were pretty complicated and took me a lot of extra time. But I've got er done with the help of folks like this💯🙏🏽

Heres my honest opinion!! Uncle Rob is my Favorite Vehicle. Simply for the fact we get to watch it evolve from a everday vehicle to a turbo'd street suv. lol i love the Escalade and the Monte Carlo is Beautiful. But watching the evolution of Uncle Rob makes it my favorite.
You are not crazy on this one, bigger components must be in. The analogy about is the jar completely full and you keep adding more smaller items. Favorite car to see vids on.... anything DIY. So, currently Uncle Rob. Pointers about cutting 90* is a HUGE, tidbit to remember!!

IMO the best vehicle in your fleet is the Newell Coach. I patiently wait for the day it gets raced. The sand, pebbles and golf balls story is something every single kid should be taught growing up and how it can be applied to every day life.
Love watching these builds since I have an 05 Denali Yukon that I will eventually turn into a project build. It has an lq4 which from what I understand isn't ideal but I gotta start somewhere.

I’m sure others have said it, but you really need a slip fit pipe in the middle of the cross over. Then simply put a diesel style band clamp over it. No leaks and the pipe can expand in the middle. I welded up a few cracks on mine before I realized what was happening.

A buddy showed me one time how to remove the fan easily. Watched him do it a few times since. Use an air chisel on the nut of the fan to spin it off. Just hit the top of an edge on the nut in the appropriate direction, it spins off in Seconds.
Escalade is my favorite build, ive had 3 just never finish them. Currently working on a gmt400 sierra, so kinda like ur suburban. Probably going to pick up another escalade just because of ur vids.
I usually leave the serpentine belt on and try the beating method as you mentioned usually works for me I generally spray with pb blaster first and let it sit for a min. Sometimes gotta resort to other methods like the vice grips too lol

I’m definitely excited about each individual build. Each one is just different enough to not be the same even thou they are pretty much the same platform. I bought a 2005 Denali about 3 weeks ago that I going to be building heads/cam and spray to start and eventually turbo. But I have a 2004 2500hd Silverado that I’m about to put a 7875 on because I’m too poor to buy a Duramax so I’m following the uncle Rob build very close. 🚌 💨

another tip for the fan clutch removal: keep the belt on and use and air chisel with the blunt punch end on it and hit the left side of the nut until it loosens.

While the belt and stuff is still holding the fan, I use a cold chisel and smack a corner of the "nut" and spin the fan off with my hands. Envoy and s10 were the tough ones and took two hits lol

Mister Mitchell I was watching a boosted boy episode where they had hurt on it from hoonigans and they were doing a test drive in the boostedboiz Honda Odyssey that they call The rodasssy and then they were talking about having a drag race with the hoonicorn because if you've been watching any of the videos from hoonigans or can block they've been doing a Forza thing where the hoonigan races all of those vehicles and then some I think once you get the Escalade back together you should give it a shot I think it would be awesome you should put your hat in against the hoonicorn and drag race it they're even doing rolling starts and digs
Only problem is that Ken is now leaving his partnership with Ford motor company and he has already taken his last ripp in the hoonicorn 😭 R.I.P. badass hooni

I say do a giveaway or something with that fan clutch, or id use it on my 99 rcsb 4.8 project i kinda need one for, lol, and if it ever went bad, id just hang it up on my wall somewhere as inspiration

i would cut the T-Bo flange and splice in an angle piece, so you get a tighter radius to the cooler.
