This episode reminded me of when I owned RM664, the so-called Silver Lady. I loved driving the Routemaster through crowded city streets among slow-moving traffic. Exactly what it was designed for. Effortless. But driving up the motorway in the slow lane at a constant 38 mph was mind deadening after 10 minutes and positively dangerous after an hour. Great vid! Used to drive one of these. No 13, Golders Green to Strand. Very very easy to drive. Superb vehicle. Have some pals whom live in a double decker bus as their home. 💚
Excellent sir, the original cream, she looks superb, I must confess I am an RT & RTL person as they took me to school in the 50's and 60's, but any Red bus is good, no, correction, any bus is good. Your bar setup is very professional and slick, you now have got to get that second one on the road asap.
@@PeteAndHisBus Pete, I am more of a nerd than that, buses are great, but trams are better, but it is difficult to own tram and run it. Plus I like your Vespa, but a GS160 with a big bore exhaust from about 1962 is the cream, and you need a Parker to ride it. Keep up the good work sir.

Hiya Pete I hope you get this comment. I am a professional Decorator and I have a tip for you with the stickers! How do I know? Well I've been doing it for years. Mix up some wallpaper paste and paste the back sticky side! And smooth out into position with a passengers brush,it evaporates and the tacky side of the sticker comes into play. If you don't believe me try it on something else you can slide it push it and once in position it's job done and it's so fast. I came to this because dado borders were self adhesive and when sticking to wallpapers or paint was a nightmare. It's so easy pete all the best to you. Ps! Don't tell everybody.
