After leaving Longhorn Lester's I came home to face the same issues that Lester is having. The Coyotes surround our homestead almost every night so now Hope and I are on a mission to take the fight back to them and try to get a handle on the threat to our animals and homestead.

Coyotes are definitely bold predators and keep coming closer, especially when they are feeding their pups. I definitely was amazed at how Hope was so brave and stuck it out with you in the blind with the spiders. You and Brandi must be so proud of her.

Good evening from northern Minnesota. Yeah it's definitely a good idea to get those predators under control around the homestead before anything happens since they are getting way to brave and coming to close to the house and animals.

I used to be a a hunter with my Dad when i was younger, so i know how to hunt, trap. I hope you get your problem under control. Tell your daughter that's how i started but i was much younger. As you said, be careful of your dog's not being pulled into an ambush by the coyotes.
Also you may want to look at buying a insulation sock for your portable Ac on it's exhaust tube. Helps dramatically in efficiency and battery life. Use one on mine makes a big difference

Hi Sean it was good watching you reset the pigs trap on the creek. The best thing is to fence around your home if you can, and put the electric fence. One of my friends used to leave the dogs out, but the coyote pack came down, and divided her four dogs, and killed them all. It was terrible, so it's better if you keep them safe at night. The girls are getting so big, and your duck is funny. All my ducks started swimming immediately.

A lot of people don't know that daddy long legs are poisonous but, not to humans because of the size relation, that's how they capture their prey. If you get bit by one, it will feel like a 'skeeter bite. And remember, Killing a long legger will make it rain.

Way to go Hope. I would be wearing the water waders so i couldn't feel the spiders crawling up my legs. And yes i love game camera footage. I live kinda in a city. But my cameras have caught a bobcat, coyotes, raccoons (whole family) and of course Cats patrolling the yard.
This is also a great opportunity to teach Hope to hunt! Not sure if she's interested or not but this would make for a good teaching experience.

I've been watching your channel i think as long as I've been watching Lester. And I've been watching Lester since day 1. I'm glad you went and helped Lester. I feel his confidence was greatly increased since you helped him out. I'm glad you bought the same call that Ms Pat and Mr Dave bought Lester. You're absolutely correct, you need to do the exact same thing you did at Lester's!!! Call them in and take them out!!!
