- Pound it with all you got! Quick Hit is useless in the International version. Trophy was turned off, didn't see it, but you earn the "Overcoming The Nemesis" after defeating it.

nostalgia. i played this game when i was in college. that was 2005ish. and beat it for 6 tims. now i'm playing it again.

now you can defeat sin, well, these custom created monster are obviously stronger than sin..
Most Superboss enemies are typically non-canon in these games. Or the implication that these enemies aren't as "Globally" powerful as the end boss. Sin is capable of leaving sheer craters in Spira's surface.

Ahh Nemesis. The toughest fight before Penance was added.
Not so much Added, since it was available in the International version of FFX. Which the North American release never got.

I didnt know that Seymours mom could break damage in 6 digits. Wow.
its actually all hits of anima added together,displays like that when you have shorter animation option on

For a moment there, I thought you were making a joke and calling Nemesis Seymour's mom. I'd totally buy it, considering how much of an asshole he is.
The aeon Anima is Seymours mum, not nemesis
This boss was one tough sob, compared to Braska’s last aeon/Jecht
Nice but how did you get so much hp im all over the sphereboard and have with everyone all stats at 200 or more luck only 150 and 20k hp. I know u can destroy +1stats and replace them. Did u use in ur accesories hp+ too?
+TheOfficialMotochika No, I removed mostly Accuracy & Evasion and Agility sphere nods replaced them with HP. And Luck I had maxed to 255, because Luck 255 is equal to 255 Accuracy & Evasion together. 190+ Agility is all you need.

It's astonishing the amount of HP this monster has.
all my characters are at dead ends of their sections where you have to use level 3 key spheres to proceed. is there a good way to get some level 3 key spheres? I need 6 of them. I am not too worried about Khimari atm. because he's on Tidus's section.

How do ppl actually match such stats (maxing) wtf, how long does it take and are there specific things you gotta do to achieve it faster/in a more reasonable way, haven't rly searched for it on the net as i don't rly intend on doing the thing but just curious as I remember 'leveling' in this game takes fking ages so the first time i seen a person having such crazy stats on youtube I was stunned lol never thought such thing actually happened, that ppl actually did that in this game o_o (ik there is more than a person that achieved this but still :o )
I read from Gamefaqs. Look under in the FFX International section: 9999/99,999. Someone made a mini walkthrough to know how to do it.

Not too much if you get the right equipment. That's the hardest part.

@@dainardcoldgamer808 Penance only has 2m more hp. Dark Anima has 2m less hp than Nemisis.
So I'm 4 years late on this, but why's Quick Hit useless in this version exactly? Does it just not actually do anything to the turn bar in Nemesis's fight specifically or something? o.o
Because Quick Hit doesn't really work anymore...in the original PS2 International Release of the game with the bonus bosses. The ability was pretty much fixed or something.
It does work. A regular Attack is a Rank 3 action. Quick Hit in the North American version was a Rank 1 action, but it was nerfed to a Rank 2 action and it now costs 36 MP instead of 12 MP. But still - Quick Hit is faster than a regular attack. (the lower the rank the smaller is the delay)
It still but lower effect than ps 2 version iirc

Nemesis is just a re-skin of Ultima weapons from this game with way better stats.
So how do you get to this area to fight these monsters?

Hmmm arena appiers when you reach calm lands in story i think not sure about map name you need collect monsters to unlock more fight and etc.(ps.I know its late answer but still xd)

In this battle the trick is to get a lot of hits in without causing Nemesis to use his big hit!

To get extra turns and using aeons to tank Omega gold or Nemesis strongest attack which like Nova Armageddon which will do 99,999 damage use aeons to tank that happens every 9 turns he sems to use it , its all about extra turns on all end game bosses as it does make a difference.
How come Nemesis doesn't counter? I thought it counters all attacks.

This guy was harder than Penance for me, but took half the time Penance did. Neither were really hard to be honest. Auto-phoenix and Auto-life made this easy.
Dispel, , auto potion,trio 9999, three Stars, and ultra NulAll made Penance easy.
Definitely don't miss the grinding for both of these guys though.
Does Wakka and Auron know each other from Spira before Tidus that’s what I want to know?
Well, Auron was traveling with the last Medium (I played the game in german and long time ago, so some names might be wrong)
Every Medium, must obtain "all" bestia and Wakka lifes close to one of those temples. The odds are high that they saw each other (at least). Auron might be not remembering, because for him, wakka was just another curious kid.
Technically probably not, they may have met in passing when Auron and Jecht went with Braska to go to the temple there, but I doubt they would have interacted

Why would this person not use his aeon's overdrive?
Does 99.999 damage like a normal attack but the animation takes longer. Only Anima and magus sisters do more damage with overdrive, due to multiple hits.
I think Animas overdrive has 15 hits and magus sisters overdrive 6 hits.
Is stealing not an option on this fight?
