When he was talking about men holding tightly to their technique and info about how to do something I thought about something I heard. This is not my insight.. but information I die with is wasted knowledge. I like that. teach... everything you can! This was fun to listen to.
A litmus test at the Williamsburg shop in the 1980s was whether you could make a wood screw. If you couldn't file up a wood screw there wasn't much chance you would ever be able to make a lock... Success there gained you entrée to mentoring and participation in making guns. There was a leather cup full of useless screws...
I have met Hershel and Frank house when I used to live in Morgantown amazing guys I love these guys and the best part is that Hershel drives an old truck... I am from Michigan and I been active shooter for the N-SSA I compete in smoothbore. Carbine, rifle started a little bit with the revolver and artillery .... We do a long range artillery shoot up in Grayling Michigan where it's service charges man I been doing this for 23 years
Much respect for Mr. House a man after my own heart . If you don’t teach your skills to others they die with you.
