I love Wixwell because he allows me to build a one key UNM without any speed turning at all. As long as I can still do that, I won't care.
Same, I already had a one key team for years and played the game how plarium wants, I feel like Wixwell was a reward for my years of speed tuning CB teams so that I could focus my attention elsewhere. I’m rolling my eyes at having to dust off my Myth Heir team but I hold out a bit of hope that he’ll still be viable for CB at least.

Well this is exactly where Wixwell is clearly most imbalanced. The Hydra Wix teams do require decent setups and other heroes and gear, and still don't outperform conventional hydra teams much, but the CB Wixwell teams have a ridiculously low requirement to simply get two Valeries in campaign and get them 195 SPD and that's literally it - you get infinite damage that cannot be achieved by any other teams. If anything, they should nerf the Wix CB teams first.
@@sergeypetrov8221 my Wixwell CB team does 400-500mil. I don't care if that number gets nerfed as long as I can still 1 key it without speed tuning.
I just hate having really good champs that could be used in multiple places but I can only use them in CB because they need to have exactly 175 speed and can't take any extra turns, or have turn meter boost masteries, or refresh gear, etc...
this deck really peeved me off all other decks have been shards the average player will never have enough soul stones to do one of these.
That's what I'm saying I've been saving my shards from everything and now it's soulstones I'm so screwed I'm f2p and don't have but the few I get for hydra each week

Not true. They have done soulstones in the past and I've been saving my soulstones for months because of that possibility. I don't buy soulstones, but have enough to complete the DOF and have leftovers.

I have not been too annoyed with their antics before, not even the Madman nerf but keeping Trunda intact, but if they do nerf hydra stuff and do not thouch Trunda it is the end of the road.
And before you comment, I have Trunda... two in fact.
Plarium's snarky response regarding the Wixwell nerfs completely failed to address the main worry people have, which is will their Wixwell based demon lord teams still be able to work and secure them a 1-key on UNM. Tons of newer players could be able to completely lose out on being able to get their daily clan boss chest and that will be devastating for them. I know that if my clan boss team were in jeopardy I would be worried to death about it. A LOT of newer players are about to potentially have their ability to progress in the game completely derailed. I would completely understand how this would kill someone's desire to keep playing.

Just built Wix last weekend for Hydra (with Lannica) and haven't even had a chance to use him yet. Oh well, will use him as long as I can until it breaks. Wouldn't be surprised if Trunda is on the chopping block as well.
Trunda-Yumeko aren't an f2p option. That team drives Void Shard sales. They won't touch that team, even though it's 10x worse in terms of balance than Wixwell-Yannica teams.

Making the deck event be souls is some shady af shit. Every deck up to this point has been shards. They knew the community was saving in preparation to obtain Freyja. A giant money grab, greedy af.
They can also revert emic to the void he should've been before his launch in the game

I'm probably not going to want to sink so many gems into the training honestly. I'll survive without getting Freyja in any case, though I was looking forward to finally completing a deck.

Yeah, they'll make a small change to Trunda, tell us that they addressed her issue and the Trunda teams will still be by far the strongest. Wixwell-Yannica will be nerfed into the ground.

For the 100th time, if you think Trunda is the problem with hydra you should just stop contributing. It's Yumeko. If you just nerf trunda they'll just find another high smack champ to replace her. It might not be 100s of billions but it'll still be unreachable numbers for many. Stop thinking it's trunda and look at the source of the issue.

My take isn't that Wixwell will be nerfed but the mechanics in Hydra will nerf all champs that do similar work. Maybe just in Hydra they'll limit the number of shields to a specific number, that'll affect the Krisk, Brogni teams too. They'll also change the way Yannika works in Hydra.
That was the impression that I got too. I think the shield cap is only going to apply to hydra.
"Here we’re talking about a complex solution....." - That right there is the problem. The solution ISN'T complex. You don't need to nerf/change champs. You just LIMIT the god damn points you are able to score! Make it fixed like the arena. Top chest on a difficulty = max points amount of points you can score on 1 key on that difficulty. It's so easy to just do this. That way people can do billions of damage if they want without affecting the Clash.
It's also a blanket solution that futureproofs for ANY other op setups the community would find down the line. But no. Plarium makes it overly complex and rather want to play whack-a-mole with the community. And the only thing they end up doing is pissing off the community more and more until they dig their own grave.

Historically speaking it’s been both SHARD SUMMONS AND SOULSTONES for deck of fate events. Wtf do you mean ‘you don’t know where ppl kept getting shard summon info from’ they got it from past statistics. It’s never in history been solely a soul stone event

Super glad I trusted my gut on the Freyja deck and been hoarding soul stones since her deck was announced! 6 Eternal stones will get me most the deck done :)

From what I figure, about 7 Eternals, 14 Immortals, and 200+ mortals should put someone in a very good spot for a soul stones Deck of Fate event.
Since everyone has ninja now, he needs a buff in hydra. His a3 specifically needs to hit all heads and have a effect on all bosses (decrease speed, attack, etc.)

The problem with nerfing wixwell is that they let us choose his kit, released it as is, discovered the infinite shield comps within a week, waited ages as more people started to build the comps, investing resources into it and then decided to nerf him.
Why have they waited so long or not said anything about it that they think its too strong and want to nerf him but are taking time to think about how.
I waited for a while before I built the team because i thought he'd be left alone by now. Thats multiple 4/5* chickens getting the champs up, lots of brews, energy to level or farm valerie, all that silver for leveling, ranking, gear sets, all the potions for ascending, for some money completing the fusion or summoning for him (and if I'm not mistaken they did a 10x on him recently before annoucing this nerf) etc etc.
If they had just said the moment they discovered it that it is too strong, people probably wouldn't be that annoyed.
In summoners war they released a monster kaki who was ridiculously op at launch and people spent loads and pumped resources to level him. They then nerfed him within a week or 2 after that and offered people through an event page the chance to revert him back to his summon state and reclaim all resources put into leveling him if they no longer wanted him.
THIS...Plarium are a fukcin JOKE. Seriously slowly quitting and not spending at ALL.
What is should be is that they should have community testers testing the champs for at least a min of 3 months before putting them into the game.

I think they may be making a shield change on Hydra as a spell. I remember it saying "Shield Cap" which has me going with the spell specifically and not Champion(s) specific. Just theory crafting at this point until it happens.
Their stance should be to not put way overpowered shit in the game to begin with, but they would rather sell the op champ and then nerf it later. I remember Tormin, a fusion champion that should have never gone live in its original form. They still haven't learned, because that's not a mistake. It's their game plan.
Never built the Wixwell team because I knew it would get nerfed. It's Plariums MO introduce problem sell you solution change solution in some way then introduce new solution.

I still have 50 sacred left after the Thor titan event and I was really hoping Freyja would be an easy get. I have about 6 months worth of soul stones from daily IT farming and haven’t spent any of the coins in that time either, but I’m still afraid it won’t be enough.
Also, regarding hydra clash, they should make the Primal Quarts guaranteed, because it sucks when you don't get any after winning first place, it's supposed to be one of the consistent places to earn primal shard other than Live arena.
Held off from summoning shards during siege. 3rd void into today and it was a Yumeko. Suck it progressive chance! =D

Okay, so Wixwell is a beast! He helped me get a one-key UNM chest, and I'm crushing Hydra now too. I can even one-key the top chest on Nightmare Hydra! He's definitely strong and might need a little adjustment from the developers. But please, don't make him unusable! I still want to be able to get those sweet one-key chests. Just maybe tone him down a bit so everyone else can catch up.
I have been saving souls and shards for this deck of fate for weeks now. I made a calculated risk and drew 50 mortal during siege because I thought I wouldn't need as many to supplement my shards. I incorrectly misjudged their greed figuring they would use their 2 biggest money makers like for F. Blademaster. Instead they are using the resource that will take the most to get anywhere. I currently sit at 117 mortal, 16 immortal and can sell the 6 star i have for the sniktraak I don't have (story of my soul draws) to get 1 eternal. With all that I doubt it will be enough. But good news! I don't have to miss out on the 2x for my 30 void shards that are about to net me 30 food champs!
They nerf him in Hydra only - fine, wasn't using those builds cause can't make them work, it screws up my one key UNM team, and most of the other members of the player base that finally had an option to one key so it's a few seconds to do it and can then spend extra keys helping knock down lower level bosses for their clanmates that aren't as high - then we have some problems.
Nerfing him in demon lord would make more sense you can simply just plug him into a team with a couple buff extenders and you get the biggest chest? The hydra team requires strategy and alot of hard to achieve builds which should be rewarded.
@@jamesgish9202 1: The Demon Lord doesn't have a PvP aspect - part of why this has even come up as an issue is the people using him +certain champs to score billions in Hydra therefore giving them an insurmountable advantage over clans where no one has those champs.
2: The normal CB teams ARE NOT plug and play. They are teams that require very specific speed tunes - and therefore very specific builds where one point of speed too high or low - the timing is off and your boned. First - yeah, you actually have to have 2 buff extenders that have them on a 3 turn Cooldown. You then of course have to have Wixwell. For the players on the upper end with super gear and what not sure - they have 2 slots open for damage dealers/debuffers but plenty of us can not achieve those kinds of base speeds. And of course you need at least one champion in a shield set - and hope it's actually one that has the stats you need. But as is - for my team to work, it needs my High Khatun who's at 259 speed to be in the lead, plus it's speed buff, plus it's turn meter fill, to actually achieve the speeds needed for that team to work - in which her, Valerie, and Demytha who had been fine at 40-50 now had to come up to 60 cause it didn't work with them at those levels, and the only gear I have to get them to the needed speeds - leaves them doing squat for damage. And so the only damage I have is Geomancer - who is the one champ in actual good gear where he lands crit hits that do something plus the reflect, and Wixwell - but only because I have him in a poison set and I gave him faultless defense to reflect some of the damage back at the CB since he puts up that AoE increase DEF.
And that does enough damage it'd take me 10-11 keys to solo the UNM CB. Compare that to the Hydra teams racking up scores where they've killed the Nightmare Hydra 30+ times over with one key.
I got Freya from the 1st Sacred shard i pulled during the last DOF!!
Opened my 21 voids. Got Supreme Elhain and Cardiel. Can't complain.
I don't mind some comps being nerfed or changes made to hydra so that the hydra mechanics become more important again. I just fear that their ideas and implementation won't be what I'm hoping for ...
Yep, lost the mental gymnastics battle on every front against Plarium. I'll be taking a nice old big break until next year.
Been saving up soul stones. I'm glad it's that and not shards. That plus champ. training sounds like not a bad trade off. Would rather save my shards for a good fusion anyway.
Plarium doing Plarium things. Giving every indication we had to hold onto shards, while we actually had to hold onto soulstones.

I will not say Plarium is serious about playtesting until they utilize their best unused resource: let Saph on the test server and CC program.
Nerfing wixwell wont fix the issue with hydra clash. it still require good gear and specific champs to use it so for most players its not a option to build anyways unless you have all the required champs + like farming icegolem alot . but unlike trunda teams you have more flexible teams. Fixing Trunda wont fix the clash either.
But here is an idea: nerfing/buffing/balancing blessings and live arena stats may balance it more. and limit the reset cooldown skill to once pr turn or something shitty like that would balance alot more than the champs that deals dmg in those comps.
I'm so screwed on this Freyja deck of fate I've saved every shard I've gotten from buy them in shop to battles in dungeon and CB holy shit I don't have barely any soulstones and im f2p wish I'd known sooner that it was a soul pulling event oh well that's it for my chances

Please take notes. If you can lock in a strong comparable game in godforge AND be super transparent unlike plarium with raid in cases like this, youll lokely have a super successful game.
Hydra Clash was useless if you win first place but could not qualify for the chests because your damage was too low. I agree with you the consolation system which gives most people a reason to do Hydra Clash at all.
They will never be able to balance Hydra clash... there will always be an overpowered team - everyone will always build that team and then it seems that their version of a fix for this would be to just nerf that team and rinse a repeat... Please let Hydra just be PvE like the old clan boss - let it be auto-able like the old clan boss; then we can build and tune teams like the good old days and maybe DWJ can do a comeback with a new clan boss calculator :D

If what is written is true then that implies that Trundas A2 will have to be fixed as well as she is the most overpowered for Hydra.

I'll only pull soulstones if it's x2. Before pulling all your soul stones, consider that souls are very important for your champs, and x2 chance to 6* your Gnut or Rotos or Taras or whichever champ might be a better use of soul summoning than just to get Freya. She WILL get power crept, and if someone finds out something "nutty" with her in PVE, she might be nerfed like Wixwell.
Shards or soulstones...this community could never be satisfied. Im personally very glad they made it a soulstone event considering the amount of shard summoning events there have been recently.

I have been preparing for the freyja deck of fate since it was announced, to discover that it is a soul summon event is soul crushing. I’m starting to consider being done with this game. I don’t expect them to make every event or champion free to play friendly but I feel like Freyja is the perfect champ to offer up as a reward for free to players to save up and get. Collecting and saving up big soul stones as a free to player is nearly impossible, there are essentially no ways to earn them.

That’s the thing. Your not supposed to keep but make do with what you have. It’s a marathon collector game. If your try to hang with the whales and spenders being F2P your not playing the game intelligently.
@hellhades Could you please address the ongoing issue with Tag Team Arena? I've been stuck in Silver 2/3 for the past three years, and it feels like the current system isn't working. It would be great if Plarium could implement a more effective solution to improve the experience.
If it affects my Clan Boss team I am out.

I just broke down and finally built the wixwell/yannica team last week. lots of resources down the drain. But I am still happy about them making changes. I would like to run a real team and not some cheese team. I am happy to take the hit in resources if hydra is actually fixed. Whether this actually fixes things or not is yet to be seen

Can we just add a shield cap that still allows him to be somewhat competent in the game? Nerfing him will literally make him useless everywhere else. Theres enough vault champions in Raid already.
They can do what they want, so long as I can still 1key UNM with my current Wixwell comp, I don't care to much what they do. If I have to make further changes to it though, I'll be annoyed.

Ummm - just a thought HH. If/when certain comps get tanked, any chance you can edit them out of the team optimizer recommendations? Imagine how frustrating that could be for newer folks and those no in the know.
the problem is, they are nerfing mixwell, but still didnt adress the trunda one, that has been a problem for much more time, and i doubt that they will do anything with trunda tbh, its just bullcrap.
you need to keep people playing this style of game for yours. as a 5 year old player i am close to quitting and going back to what i played. i want a 2nd game and i hope you will do stuff properly (2nd = a game i can play on an alt monitor)

I hope I have enough soul stones. I've skipped the last few 2x soulstone events and I've been doing IT daily + extra rewards in events etc. I have a little over 200 mortal and only 10 immortal. Crossing my fingies
I don't give 2 farts in the wind about Hydra. I can barely get to 11m on easy. With Wixwell I can 1-key uncb and before he arrived and I spent all that time and resources to build the team around him it was 3-key nmcb. The simple answer to all this is... they nerf my clan boss team I'm gone. It would probably be good for my mental health to take a few months off to be ready for Godforge to arrive.
Pulled all 31 voids I had & got my first Void leggo since May...and it was a dupe Angar. 😑

4:06... i think it was mtgjedi that just fixed hydra without nerfing anything... hydra already has a cap of max damage you can do in a single attack or skill(i am not sure what it was i am paraphrasing)... so basically lower that cap even further so to not see those billions of damage...
I got shards and soulstones so Im good but some have skipped shard events, others skipped 5 star thor just to save the equivalent of 20 sacreds.... Costs nothing to lets us know lol
The compensation chest must be broken, Couse I did 50M and didn't get squat
I have the shards saved, just not enough souls. Freya is not for me it seems. Losing my Wixwell teams hurts more though.
You know they are going to do it in the worst way possible. I have a strong trunda normal team, but I'm no where near a whale. I've invested so much into that team, and I bet they won't give any compensation.

I guess I won't get a Freya then, I'm so tired with all the events and previous fusion that I don't feel like grinding a Champ training, the soul stone is too brutal too when they don't even reward you of the big stone other than winning some events, it sucks ass
