DR200 - fitting the wiring loom & a few other bits!

With the front end installed & the engine in it's time to transplant the wiring harness from the old to the new frame. A relatively simple task until Holley & I realize that it seems the loom is one of the first items to be fitted to the frame in the factory & we now have an air box & engine in the way!

Great video but Suzuki are the British Leyland of Motorcycles! I did the same job on a Yamaha and it was designed so much better to be a lot easier to work on than this appears to be.

Thanks Arthur, yes, Holley is really enjoying this project & is eager to get the bike finished so she can go for a blast around the woods!
The remaining parts should arrive by early Feb so we should be able to schedule another weekends filming in by the end of Feb.....fingers crossed

Hey Knut, I had no idea there had been an earthquake! Looks like it was in the far north - a long way from Auckland so didn't affect Holley, I checked & she is just fine :-)
