The weird thing is, Team Dimsun could have been heroes if they had decided to quit the crystal mission and instead use the chunks of ice from Alama Castle to feed the 403+ people with the snow cones.

With regards to the Team Dim Sun/Dim Sum sound-alike thing, that actually becomes part of a sidequest mission that you can do at one point in the game. When you're out on patrol looking to help people, this guy says that his grandmother's two Murkrow have gone missing and asks you to track them down. When you do, it turns out that the two Murkrow are named Dim and Sum, and they ran away because they felt ashamed about their names because everyone in town was talking about "the bad guys Team Dim Sun", which sounded like their names. This game has the greatest writing, I swear.

As much as I like Guardian Signs, I still have to say that you can't really criticise one of the DimSun admins being called "Ice" when some of the antagonists of Guardian Signs are literally called "Red Eyes", "Blue Eyes" and "Purple Eyes".
Do those color-eyed characters deal with Dragons? Because if so, I am obligated to laugh until it hurts.
To be fair though, it’s likely that those are just their code names.

The number of situations where a villain team could have succeeded in their missions by just picking up the protagonist and putting them somewhere else is very amusing because the protagonists are usually kids and the bad guys are usually adults

3:48 - Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky is a must have. I won't spoil anything but this game has one of the best stories not just in Pokémon, but *ALL* of gaming.

BDSP isn't nintendo's greatest work ever, but it's got some good points.

I love the stories where you can actually see a lot of the side of the antagonist and I’m not gonna lie Pokémon were able to do that in everything they did (except for Pokémon quest). Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky:

Seriously though, everyone needs to play Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. It has one of the greatest plots in the entirety of Pokemon and is just an amazing game in general. I've played it all the way through at least 20-30 times over the years, and I'm not exaggerating. Explorers of Sky and Shadows of Almia are two of of the most nostalgic games for me, but I've only played through Shadows of Almia 3 or 4 times, so I might get a rom on my phone so I can play it during my breaks at work. I still have the game, but I'm not trying to carry around my 3DS XL and get even worse wrist pain.
Absolutly agree on the Pmd part, Sky was and is the peak of the Mystery Dungeon Series. Cant say anything about Ranger only played the First one and never liked it.
After seeing this video, I downloaded a ROM of it and plan to play it using Desmume
Also doesn’t Bidoof have an entire side quest in Explorers of Sky or is that another game (I’ve never played the game but I read about it)

I think Explorers of time was the first game that I pre-ordered and when I pre-ordered it I got a sticker/skin for my DS with it and a explorers guide. The first Pokémon game I played was soul silver but I couldn’t beat lance but the first Pokémon game I actually beat was Pokémon ultra moon my starter for silver was I think Cyndiquill and for moon it was litten for all the games I just pick the fire types but for Arceus I picked Rowlet
me being old my first pokemon game was silver and completed the pokedex wel my friend did whit cheated pokemon and i traded them no way to get a celibi any other way
Pokemon sun was the first pokemon game I was actually excited to beat. I spent hours playing Pokemon pearl but the story was so few and far between that it was never really engaging to me. I literally had to look up where to go and what to do most of the time because I couldn't figure it out on my own. Flash forward a few years and pokemon sun released, I had just got it for Christmas and the moment I started playing it I was sucked in. The story was very engaging and the end of the game actually felt intense and climactic. Overall it's one of my favorite pokemon games I've ever played.
I'd say being attacked by some Bidoof is more embarrassing than being attacked by a level 2 Poochyena.

I played this so much as a kid and had so much fun. The game mechanics do end up getting pretty repetitive, but the story, writing and music definitely made up for it.

To be fair, Shadows of Alima pre-dates Sun and Moon, so it's shocking for Pokemon standards at the time.
Colosseum & XD are underrated, and surprising difficult if you want to catch everything. Briefly played the OG Ranger, got stuck. Beat Guardian Signs, including the DLC events.
I could never understand the seemingly random hate for the newer games. S/M and US/UM were some of my favorite games in a LOOOOONG while. I never got to play Let's go Pikachu or Eevee but Enjoyed Sword and Shield. I don't fully agree with some of the design decisions that took place during development... but I still enjoyed playing them.
Also, why would she mention Colloseum and XD when she didn't mention Rescue Team, Gates to Infinity. She mention 1 game in that pokemon style genre.
