    Great talking but how about a video demonstration, I would really like to see what settings were used and how long it took. I just bought the Tp09 and the air flow on auto seems so low (goes to level 4) that it will probably take 1 day to clean a 20mp2 room and if I set it on anything above that ... or max the noise level is not tolerable.
    So, what settings and how long it took? Did it used oscillate as well? if Yes, on what range?
    Like Mr.Dyson used to demo his vacuums, I expect the same from the purifiers no?

    I am not a massive fan of some Dyson products, BUT I LOVE my Dyson Pure Cool. Is it worth the price, no, but it is very effective!

    Same as I though when I was shopping for a air purifier , what is the air purifier only create a clean air bubble near the machine itself.

    How long does it takes to purify a room 23cm room and what are it’s affects if any with corona virus 🦠?

    • @dyson
      @dyson  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Dyson purifying fans purify bacterium, not viruses. So we can't advise that it will improve or cure symptoms of corona virus as it is not a medical device. In terms of the rate of purification, it is dependent on many factors. If you have the airflow set to 10, it will purify the air in proximity to the fan very quickly. Dyson Your website says it does viruses? “Dyson Pure Cool air purifiers are scientifically tested to capture particles as small as allergens and viruses”

    • @plutofish3624
      @plutofish3624 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@user-ke2dn2cm3r Hi, this is kinda late but still just want to say that you misunderstood the statement. They said it captures particles "as small as viruses", not viruses themselves. So the machine is built to capture particles that are the size of a virus, but, not built to catch viruses in particular.

    Where direction does the air purifier suck dirty air from: behind the fan, in front of the fan or from all sides?

    • @dyson
      @dyson  ปีที่แล้ว

      The unfiltered air is sucked in from the base (where the motor is), passes through the filters, and is pushed out from the slits in the Amp assembly!

  • @freddiebox

    I still think 400 dollars for their "cheaper" model, which is just a plastic case with a fan, is too expensive. There is no app support, no display, a plastic remote with low range, and one of the loudest fans on any air purifier. And if you need to replace the filter, you must come up with 80 dollars every year if you want the Dyson filter. You can get an air purifier with more features and a smart fan for the same price. When I got my Pure Cool Tower, they didn't even bother to ship it with their filter; they shipped it with a 20 dollar filter that only lasted around six months.

    • @daniel_s
      @daniel_s 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      not a dyson support here, but hepa filters are extremely hard to clean to almost impossible and the charcoal filter will stop working after some time, so the overall answer is no

      No but they last a year sopposedly on medium settings for 8 hours a day. But don't quote me on that. And it lets you know when to change the filter.

      i've had my fan for almost a year now. it's not an air conditioner.
      however, it's blowing air behind me right now, it's a really nice, cool breeze that i can't live without anymore. i even have my windows open at the moment and it's still effective.
      i think mine's on for a bit too long sometimes, cause i literally use it all the time. money well spent
