- I sold my crashed Piuma and put the setup in my new Nimbus 550. I‘ll strech it soon but before that I wanted to try it as a 550. This was the actual 9th flight with that heli. I messed up the gear mesh a little bit so it screams like hell. Pretty cool little helicopter! The peaks are really low with the 12S Setup (60-100A) and the YGE stays cool 😎

Very nice once again! Loving my Nimbus as a 550, but been thinking of stretching it. You running the stock triple dampers or POM? Also, why and what tooth speed up tail pulley?
@@floating1351 thanks buddy. Don‘t stretch it. stretching is only capable of smooth low rpm flying, nothing harder than that. If you fly it hard with a 12S setup it‘s shaking all over the place. It‘s not built for that. I run the POM dampeners. I used the speed up tail pulley (don‘t know how many teeth there are - but it‘s only one speed up tail pulley available from xlpower) because i love low rpm 3d and the tail of the nimbus is not the best at moderate rpm.
@@GrimesRic I too am a slow sport/3D pilot. Well, working on my 3D. I've been running 1640 on a 6S 4000 setup with an Egodrift 4025-850Kv and an 11T Pinion. Flies really nice, getting 7 to 8 mins of flight time. Also tried an 6S 4400. 9 minute flight time today :) I'm guessing you run the Vbar Gov too? I do have a pair of the VTX's but currently flying the Spin 555 mains and 95 tails. Rock solid so far. Been running the stock dampeners, which seem fine so far at 1640.
Did you ever fly this heli on 6S? I thought it had really good power on 6S, but this is crazy 😂
sadly no 🙈😁 i just had a small 12s setup lying from my piuma. didn‘t want to buy a new 6s setup ☺️

Hey! Die Haube gibts 1:1 so bei xlpower :) ich bin dir ehrlich, bin mit dem nimbus zufriedener als mit dem Piuma! Habe den Nimbus schon auf 610/620 gestreched. Mit dem Piuma wurde ich nie warm

@@Johs_Heli_Videos ich kann es dir gar nicht soo genau sagen. ich fand das ansprechverhalten des helis immer total merkwürdig. entweder lag es an dem sehr niedrigen gewicht des helis, oder an den midi servos...oder an beidem. der kopf war auch sehr klein geraten für einen 700er, wodurch er wirklich krasse vibrationsprobleme hatte. an Auros war nicht zu denken und beim auslaufen/aushungern in der Luft hat er sich ordentlich aufgeschüttelt. habe auch nie blätter gefunden mit denen er mir gefallen hat. am ende war ich mit den MS Rapid 710 am glücklichsten. sicher kein schlechter heli! aber wir wurden einfach keine freunde. als ich ihn dann versehentlich in einen baum gelfogen habe, habe ich die crashmechanik an einen kumpel verkauft :-D du hast noch den Piuma? bist zufrieden?
Good morning Grimes, how do you not have problems with the AG01-V gimbals.. I had to dismantle them because the red message on mine failed and you could no longer turn on the engine.
and I had to fit the original Mikado
Hi Roberto, i still have a Vbar Touch, no Vbar Evo. Maybe thats the reason? Also I don‘t have the newest Update on the Vbar (and I won‘t do it) and I am recalibrating the sticks every few days, just to make shure that no problem arise. Flying the AG01 for a few months now without a problem.

Warum kreischt dein nimbus so? Klingt das real auch so?!
weil das heavy duty v3 zahnrad im kit war, das ist bekannt dafür dass es kreischt. habe mittlerweile das neueste HZR drin das ist deutlich angenehmer. im video war das ritzelspiel aber auch einen ticken zu groß, was das kreischen nochmal verstärkt hat. klang ziemlich unangenehm...

@Schraubehubbrauber das alte heavy duty ist ok :) nur das durchgängige HZR (wie beim NME) ist das kreischding.
