Ken & Janelle, how special to have a birth of your own within the Octave of Christmas (maybe?)or even during the Christmas Season! (Octavia? 😊) God's blessings on all of you as you prepare for the birth of your little one!

What a blessing to hear from Fr. Cristino on Church related matters. We do not take down decorations or lights etc down until after the 6th for all the reasons Father mentioned. Why would we not want to hold on to the beauty of it all anyway? I certainly am not ready on the 26th. God bless Fr. and Ken for taking the time for all of us who are listening and willing to learn.

Wow! I did not know why we celebrated Jesus’s Birth on December 25 because it is nine months after March 25 which is the annunciation. How beautiful! I also did not know that Jesus died on the day of his conception, which is March 25th. This video is so informative. Love it! God bless everyone and have a very Merry Christmas! Thanks for making this video! I have learned a lot! ❤🙏

Let it be known to all:
Through the Holy Spirit, God has put it on me to preach to those lost in the devil's deceit!
I tell ye, truly, Jesus of Nazareth is the propitiation for the whole world's sins. He is the anointed one, for he is, Jesus Christ. God the Father has raised him from the dead; who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God! Angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life: no one comes to the Father, but by him. They who believe and are baptized with the Holy Spirit shall be saved; but they who believe not shall be damned. For they who believe not on him, shall die in their sins!
I tell ye now to repent of your sins, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and you'll receive the gift of the Holy Spirit upon asking the Father!
There are *NO* sub-divisions of Christianity. You're either a disciple of Christ or not. A Christian is someone who follows God's word, not a religion. Who obey the Father and follow his will; not man's nor their own heart's. Unless you keep Jesus' commandments, think not the Holy Spirit will dwell within you!
They who heed this message and did what was stated with an open heart to God...
Read the Holy Bible (KJV) daily and every time before you read, pray to the Father and ask:
"Lord I ask that you give me understanding of your word, that I interpret it the way you want me to, and none of my own. I ask you in Jesus' name, amen."
      1 John 2:2 KJV
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
      Acts 13:26-33 KJV
26 Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, *and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.*
27 *For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.*
28 And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.
29 *And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.*
30 *But God raised him from the dead:*
31 And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.
32 *And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,*
33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
      1 Peter 3:22 KJV
22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
      John 14:6 KJV
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
      Mark 16:16 KJV
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
      John 8:24 KJV
24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
      Acts 2:38 KJV
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
      Luke 11:13 KJV
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
      John 14:21-24 KJV
21 *He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.*
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, *If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.*
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and *the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.*

Incredible how God works. At Bible study yesterday we were having quite the intense discussion about why Christmas was celebrated on December 25th. I just sent this to everyone in my class. Thanks for sharing this! And Merry Christmas!

Thank you Fr. Christino and Ken for this video. 🤓👍🙏❤️🙏God bless will share this with a family member who said Christmas is done for him and he is glad it is over😢😢😢.sadly his daughter agrees and said it in front of my great nephew who is 8 😢 May the Holy Spirit remove the wall he has built in his heart and awaken him so he can truely feel Jesus this Christmas; and close his ears to the secular world which is trying to destroy the true meaning of Christmas. I hope he and his daughter will learn something from this video if they watch it.

Once upon a time there was a season of Epiphany extending from 1/6-2/2. My grandmother celebrated and observed thru 2/2. So do I. It works for me. I wish it hadn’t been changed.

I have heard that at one time the Crib and some other decorations remained out until either Feb 2 [Candlemas] or the eve of Septuagesima, 3 weeks before Lent, whichever is earlier. The transition to remove on Jan 6 or thereabouts originated in the 19th century. Not certain why, but to hazard a guess it is because the children return to school after the holiday around then, so perhaps the children would help put them away and realise that 'playtime is over' and it was time to return to normal.

How would one object to people accusing Christmas being "pagan" and what evidence is there for Early Christians?
