    Thanks for the step by step process instead of just starting at the sensor. Great replacement part instead of oem for cost savings. 👍

    Are these sensors basically the same up though the years? Near as I can tell arctic cat changed the plug somewhere along the way. Will this work on 800 crossfire 2010?

    Do you know if this EGT sensor works on a 2012 Ski Doo etec 800 as well?

    • @3sixtynorth
      @3sixtynorth  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately, none of our crew run a Ski-Doo, so we don't have an answer to that question.

    Hey boss, I’m running a 2014 m8000. I tired a ggb mountain can on it but it gave me an octane code and went in limp mode. Turned it off and back on. Code went away but still in limp mode. Put the stock can back on and sled ran fine. I run 91 octane and I tried putting some octane boost in and the sled still goes into limp mode with the mountain can on it. Just wondering if you ever heard of the problem. Maybe I need to replace the o2 sensor. Any advice would be much appreciated. Love the TH-cam videos keep it up

    • @3sixtynorth
      @3sixtynorth  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely could be the o2 sensor, but that being said some aftermarket cans due cause issues. The only other thing we can suggest is to try a different can to see if it's causing the same issue

    Hey can you tell me would this problem cause a bogging in the top end?

    • @3sixtynorth
      @3sixtynorth  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      When this happened to the sled in the video, the sled lost power and was in limp mode. So to answer your question it could be a possibility but you would get an error code.

    Hey guys, running a 2007 F8 with this issue. I replaced the sensor with the GM one but it dis not fix the code. Since i had to cut and splice the plug, does it matter which way the wires go? Could my problem be as simple as i crossed the wires?

  • @Ray209
    @Ray209 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I recently purchased a 2013 F800. When I bought the sled it had the ECU 17 light on and the previous owner said he replaced the sensor that same day. I rode 200 miles and the code was still present. Last night I replaced the sensor with the AC delco one and after starting the sled the code is still on. In your video here the code went away as soon as you started the sled. Any ideas? I just did fresh plugs too...

    • @3sixtynorth
      @3sixtynorth  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure if 2013 f800 part would be the same as our highcountry. But you are right the code should go away if replaced properly.

      Yes it is the corect part. #213-4778 is the model # but if you read the specs it shows 12643246 as OEM part #. Thank you for watching our videos

    I have a crossfire 800 2010 and i got that Ecu 17. But after i Get the ECU 17 my sled not Go so fast and It’s also stop when i dont give gas. Its that beacause the ecu 17 ?

    • @3sixtynorth
      @3sixtynorth  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ecuador 17 is an error code. Meaning something is wrong with the engine or its component. You would have to check your manual what ECU 17 means for your sled.

    Should use red or green loctite, very good chance it will vibrate loose over time.

    • @jsnyara
      @jsnyara 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      red loctite becomes liquid again when its hot.

    • @bigjay6743
      @bigjay6743 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Never will that vibrate loose once you get some moisture in there that sucker pretty much weld it to the muffler not saying there isn't a time and a place for Loctite though it is very important...
