How to make a Foaming Oil Body Wash

- Make a beautiful body wash from oils that has the benefits of a body oil and the foaming and cleansing ability of a shower gel.
This is a super simple, but beautiful formula suitable for beginners to formulating.
Update: Please note that since making this video Lumorol K5229 has become widely available and it seems the manufacture recommends a high rpm stirrer to mix the Lumorol into the oils for a stable product. Whilst this formula does appear to remain stable from hand stirring, if you have access to an overhead mixer, I would always recommend following manufacturer instructions as professional equipment will always yield best results. :)

No, but I don't see why you couldn't add an oil soluble thickener. I'd also sheer mix for best results, it will clear up again once it sits, depending on ingredients used.

I'd try something like shea butter to start with, or you could try a little cera bellina wax as that gels oils. There are lots of things, best to read up on Lumorol K5229 and compatibility and formulation suggestions to get some ideas.
So this is Amazing! Glad Tara shared this! But now Lumorol is sold out! I need this or something similar to use. I found that my skin reacted to oil based wash very well when I needed it to help with a break out I had! Any suggestions of alternatives until Lumorol is back in stock?
There is no alternative to Lumorol K5229 that I know of, it’s a unique product. You could have a look at the oil facial cleanser video and use a non foaming emulsifier instead, but it would be different. I’m sure the companies selling will restock.

Im really wanting to try this but the fact its out of the UK and nothing in the US.
It’s worth asking your suppliers to stock it, otherwise I know the UK suppliers ship internationally.
Can you recommend a product that doesn't contain sulfates and is ecocert or cosmos like the Lumorolk 5229
There isn’t a substitute for Lumorol as far as I’m aware.

Is it compulsory to used same oil or we can use any oil in this proportion
Hi, you can use any oils that you like and the Lumorol can be used between 35% and 60%. The higher the Lumorol % the easier it rinses.
What can a substitute for Lumorol?
There isn’t a substitute that I know of. It’s a unique ingredient.
Is it an all natural product?
No, Lumorol is not a natural product.
They dont sell lumorol in thd netherlands
It’s only available in the UK as far as I know, but it’s manufactured by a German company I believe.
