    Mmmmm I haven't had a sponge cake in forever!! I wonder if there's such a thing as gluten free self rising flour? The texture of your cake looks like absolute perfection :)

    • @CindyNair
      @CindyNair  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question! I've never seen it. But you could use normal gluten free flour with baking powder. 😊

    Having a stand mixer would be so nice to be able to make recipes like this! We are horrible bakers, we would easily mess this up, hahaha. Looks so good!

    I've never seen a cake batter made this way before, but I'm intrigued. The crumb of the cake looks really good so I want to try this the next time I make a cake to see the difference.

    Ooo- I've never tried to make one of these before!! Makes sense that you have to sift the flour so the cake is lighter. And I know I've said this before but your mixer is so pretty! 😍

    This looked yummy! I’ve never seen a recipe where you heat up the wet ingredients before combining them with the dry so that was interesting. I might try this because I have a lot of extra frosting to use up from my daughter’s birthday.

    I wonder why people ever started putting eggs in cake batter anyway. It's totally not necesary. I bet this would be really nice with a fruit spread like apricots or strawberry. MmmmM The sifted flour looked so satisfying too and it looked like is was snowing in South Africa. ha ha

    • @CindyNair
