This type of post, in addition to making us think about loneliness, also makes us think a little more about how much the greatest quartet in the history of mankind in music has learned from Mr. George Martin ... and this is something really magical!
I used to have a KLH turntable from the 70s that went down to 16 and up to 78. Manual as well which was great for back masked messages. Hours of great fun!
Sandy Hancock No it’s not that. Picture disks are worth a lot, especially if they’re limited edition. I was referring to the sound quality they give, which compared to even a record made from recycled vinyl, have poor sound quality

Eleanor Rigby but it takes a month for her to pick up the rice in a church where a wedding has been.

Ha ha. Lolz
I think it is her wedding. She got married, that is her wedding at the beginning. That is how I interpreted it. She got married but is still lonely.

This is actually just an alternate take with Ringo on vocals

Hey, youre 64
Jajaja
Put the speed to 1.5
Non entity I did!

Idk why this made me laugh as hard as it did
I can relate so badd xD

Simultaneously the worst and the best song for that to happen with! 😅
This sounds exactly like Eleanor Rigby slowed down
That’s the one! Couldn’t remember the name. Thanks

The saddest song ever and this is more depressing.
You aren't forgetting about "for no one" are you, sir?

I love it too! It makes it a bit more dark and sad which goes good with the lyrics
I uses to do the same! But it killed the playera too early.
It's already a sad song, and this just makes it sound so much more...Idk somber, haunting, and quiet

I followed your recommendation and expected Paul singing like a chipmunk. But surprise, surprise ... he didn't.
At 1.5x it's back to original speed, but tuned way lower.

TH-cam recommendations: Eleanor Rigby at 33rpm
This is a 45 played at 33, important to make that distinction
Yeah, I’ve played it at 33 hundreds of times. Of course that was an album.
Alex Yerkey Wasn’t there a 16 speed also?
To be pedantic it's 33 1/3
Not important at all...as its obvious.
You might as well say its important to indicate its a vinyl record...
