We're turning wrenches on the 1962 AMC Rambler Classic Deluxe project car. We've installed a new transmission seal & the engine is back in the car. Now we need to get the 196 cubic inch straight six engine running so we can find out if our transmission still leaks or if it's fixed. If our transmission doesn't leak anymore, we get to start preparing the car for driving on the road for the first time since 1975.

I'm impressed--you were actually driving it (and no leaks). Those Ramblers were famous for having seats that folded down into a bed. Next time it gets late, just climb inside and stretch out.

Possibly one more before that. The ding dang filler hose is cracked in two. I found a reproduction but it's not available. I'm working on a way to keep fuel from splashing out of the tank.
