One of my best flight experiences was on Singapore airlines in economy from Sydney to Singapore. The service I received from Joyce felt as if I were flying in First Class! It actually felt better than the International First Class service I've had on other airlines. I can't wait to fly Singapore airlines A380 suites that I already booked!
I have flown with them twice, and the staff are the best part! They always look smart and well rested, and are always friendly the travellers! I would highly recommend!

I always take Singapore Airlines economy class from San Francisco to Singapore and it is a 17 hours 40 minutes flight. Even though the seats are pretty tight in economy, they have the best service. But this long hauler is a nightmare. I just wish to fly in a business class one day ! Lucky you Sam that you are able to enjoy the business class and premium economy !

By the time they’re burned out on flying, and dealing with passengers, they’re let go with absolutely option to stay on. By the way, I think this is a very good thing. Unlike our American flight attendants, who are permitted to stay on the job until they grow old die.
I don’t know how this turned up in my feed, but I loved and lived every moment. I could taste the champagne, feel every vibration in the tail section, smell that distinctive jet fuel or whatever that chemical is that I consider travel perfume, hear the hiss of the air vents. It's been so long since I did the polar route, Sam but for these few minutes I was over the clouds again. I cried, actually. Thank you for such a great vicarious-at-its- best experience

at least they should give you like a voucher or something or discount for next flight or upgrade class. in Cathay Pacific, my seat mate got bumped into business class due to his inflight entertainment stopped working lol, not a bad deal for 8 hours to go
I think they are racist. Alaska airlines is much better. Given me a voucher for damaged luggage. After that incident with Delta I only fly with SQ, even the fare is much expensive. The service is excellent.

What hasn't been talked about a lot on TH-cam is the longest flight that involves a departure from and/or arrival in a city located in what used to be the Eastern Bloc (i.e. former Yugoslavia or former Warsaw Pact). There are some long flights out there (or @ least there were before covid-19 shut down a lot of air routes) fitting into that category, among them: - Zagreb to Incheon - Los Angeles to Moscow - NYC to Moscow - NYC to Tashkent - Toronto to Kiev - Havana to Moscow
They don't work the entire flight. There is a break room where they can lay down and get off their feet (thank god!). For the A350 it looks like this (th-cam.com/video/w4gGJnUtQZE/w-d-xo.html), but I agree with your sentiment.
Sam, what do you think of the heavy radiation exposures to frequent and longhaul flights? I also fly longhaul and often wonder about this. There is lot less ozone protection at high altitude flights. So there are a lot more radiation bombardment from the Sun and cosmic ray. This in turn increases genetic mutation and chances of cancer.

I wouldn’t worry about this unless you are cabin crew or flight crew. Passengers don’t fly often enough for this to be a problem
