Around 16:30 when working on the 45 degree surface, you can choose Sketch View to sketch on that plane. Also, your videos are excellent. Thank you so much for creating these videos and being a great teacher. I am working my way through all your videos.
I'm a beginner in solid edge. sometimes I think that sequential mode is easier than synchronous. how can I change the extrusion of the slanted part. So, e.g. I didn't choose "through next", but I already confirmed everything with OK. Do I have to completely redraw the slanted part? Unfortunately I can't find any documentation about it. This is easier in sequential mode. thanks in advance for your help
Hi I created the drawing and then produced the solid, realizing that I had forgotten to include the two sets of fillets, (R2.5). does solidedge allow you to go back to the sketch and make alterations, I certainly am not able to see how to, in fusion 360 you would use the timeline. Have you produced any tutorials covering this subject matter, of editing, Thanks I do very much enjoy your tutorials.
Thank you for reaching out. Please watch this video, th-cam.com/video/iJdFk3VfLIk/w-d-xo.html it will address your concern. Let me know if it helps. Thanks.
@@drmseif Hi thank you for your response so much appreciated from a solidedge learner, I watched your recommended tutorial and yes it did give me an insight into editing procedures, but I only managed to break more elements of the design, I will now create sketches and run exercises on editing to self teach, again thank you your support is very much appreciated.
@doncoyle114 Absolutely, Solid Edge will allow you to modify the part and the draft sheat. Please watch exercise 5. One of the more advantages of Solid Edge is that it does allow you to import any drawing done by any other software and modify it.
