I just now realized that it's nice to listen to a Man that's not discounting people's concerns or trying to find the wrong in what people are reporting. It's good to hear. Thank you.

My stomach , every bone in my body hurts, head hurts. High blood pressure .. abuse will kill you . I had a mini stoke after being yelled at for 8 hours .Then he takes my phone so I couldn't call 911 .
It's horrible and never ends , the smallest thing sets them off and they say your attacking them.

This strong confident voice is just what I need! Accurately describes what I'm going through being the 'nice person'. I've gone through every one of those stress responses. This brings such validation. It applies to my marriage and one of my "best friends" of twenty years... Complete narc and blew up at me the last day staying at her Beach house in obx. I no longer tolerate being screamed at by anyone. I stood up for myself and I'm proud. But the emotional damage is causes is REAL!! There is no other option than to swallow the pain. It's so difficult. 😖🤕 I get to come home to a narc who wants to act like everything is just fine yet he's not changed a bit. I'll get out I just need money God help me. Anyone have success with domestic violence centers? Anyone from Buffalo NY?

My husband said that his therapist agreed that his abusive ways to me is reactive abuse. I can't imagine what he has told her.

Yes, everything said is true. My divorce decree is being drafted currently, and I pray ex stops his shenanigans until our son graduates high school in three years. As long as his GF keeps him “happy,” I should be left alone.

Yes. Truth is so important. But I don’t want to destroy beloved with the truth. Like Paul - speaking truth in love - that’s a tough one….

I looked online for your book - Escaping your narcissist - and could only find audiobook version for $20. Is there no hard copy available - to buy to Canada?

I was married to a narcissist I didn't realize this until we went through marriage counseling he paid for it the counselor told him he was a narcissist he didn't receive what he said he was mad about hearing the truth we are divorced now after 5 years we did have some good times he said to me one day that I was fat black stupid uneducated I said he knew I was black when he married me his family tolerated me they didn't celebrate me I had him to pay for divorce because out of 5 years he never gave me a penny I had a job and my own car is lived in my car for awhile because I didn't make plans to leave I am in the process of healing because of Jesus Christ being in my life I am not a victim because I chose to move on sign Cynthia Smith

My narc won't accuse me of being a narcissist because he is completely ignorant of psychological terms and what they mean.

My ex Narc lost his job and now lives off EI and pays me Zero for Child Support. He hasn’t had a job in one year! Pay back for me, since I was the one who divorced him year and a half ago! Just waiting it out! 😊

Mine refused to work for 2 years while I was part time (because we had 3 young kids and daycare for the tw would have been more than my income at full time, and he refused to “babysit” his kids for me to work… and so we’re separated on road to divorce and he had since gone back to working his company - refuses to pay child support, too. It’s all extremely special. They never want to pay. They don’t feel they should have to.

Why are you referring to the Narc as a “he”. I don’t appreciate that and quite frankly, it’s hard to follow along. I am a man, who just has to end it with my wife. I’m looking for solice and help. Women narcs are just as bad
