For me TASM1 did it the best. By the end of the game, if you didn't change suits, Peter looked like absolute crap and the suit would be torn to shreds. It was barely a costume at that point. You could also see the mask had a cracked eye lense and parts of Peter's hair were sticking out

BUT once you get the black suit, we should get to see it grow back instantly, with a slimy animation and everything, since it's supposed to be alive. It makes a great contrast to the regular tech ones, and will also play into the story dynamic nicely.
In the amazing Spider-Man most of them have the same damaged textures and only big time and scarlet suit don't get damaged, only TAS suit is different.

I really don't see anyone talking about the EOT suits battle damage so here I go, I really like the Arkham style the game went for, when you just start the game for a small bit of time you have a clean suit but as soon as Peter puts his guard down and goes to check on Anti-Venom he gets some small rips in his suit, it's nothing that looks too bad, in a way in reflects Peters state at the time as when you first get the first set of battle damage it takes away your dodge, it's not too big of a deal as you can still move like normal though, overall it's not that bad but the second time it gives you battle damage Peter is crawling on the floor for his life and the suit looks like crap, it really fits the state he's in, after the fight is over nothing happens to the suit for some time because nothing happens to Peter but while crawling through the vents when Atrocity attacks you, Peter can be heard saying that he almost died again and passed out once he was safe he also states that he left half his costume behind and the suit looks like hot crap, again reflecting the state Peter is in, I'm not trying to say it's the best battle damage ever but I really like it and I wanted to say something cause nobody was.
if you complete the last mission and get to the final cutscene where miles has fallen back down to the city after his fight with the tinkerer, if you pause the cutscene and then "abandon mission", you will then spawn into the free roam area with the damaged suit that he has on during that cutscene...

TASM 1 Battle damage is probably my favorite. When you reach the end of the game and your suit is messed up like heck, it just feels awesome

I like the Edge of Time suit. The rips feel different, they're almost alien. They're not completely smooth sharp rips, they're messy.

You have to be low on health (1hp I believe) after fighting criminals. If you don't heal your suit will stay damaged.

They did, if you get injured your suit gets damaged and breaks down. Most noticably the Sportswear and Great Responsibility suits
