Some sources say for 1 individual around $1,050/month without rent/mortgage. Depending on size of home you could expect to get a rental for no less that $2k/month, apartments are near that as well. Home prices are $450k+ in the area.

That money should've went into Intel or Dell or even Microsoft

Waste of time and resources... Prices will be 3-4x higher, because of taxes, high capital expenses and possible fab will not be profitable and fully loaded.

No one cares as long as China and Russia can’t buy semiconductors or chips

@@Conan-ny1um a) China already able to produce locally all spectrum of chips from 250nm till 10nm, (300 fabs are there).
      b) force leave of US specialists, only will open space for EU,Asia,India specialists.
US specialists will not be able to find similar positions or factories, soon will start loosing actual knowledge and experience, as well leadership.
      c) this will only force China to grow specialists, sources and manufacturing capabilities locally, increasing competitive advantage.

@@alexpetrov9911 lol Chinas 10nm chips are not capable of running a iPad. Many articles on that subject.

@@Conan-ny1um it's sad if you thinking ipad is general segment & top usage of 10nm chips, as source of China/US war..
      1) of all ipad is less then 10% of apple revenue. And all apple less 2% of 10nm fab of TSMC from 18 fabs.
      2) next apple chip is 5nm and again US not ready for it. And just in case ipad US cost will be 2-3x higher, if will be able to manufacture at acceptable yields.
      3) general point of battle for chip advantage is far away from CE devices, it's more about tech control and politics, at higher cost for all users.

@@alexpetrov9911 Well Since all 3 TSMC - Intel and Samsung are now based in USA and have spent over $100billion making new Fabs in the USA 🇺🇸 I’m sure they will be just fine.
