No I am not thinking of living there, I used to live there, I grew up there, just like much of my class mates out of High School we all mostly moved out, not really a lot for young folks there and that means career opportunities unless your lucky enough to work from home, I do still have a couple of friends that still live there just a coupe though, I do go back every few years or so, to visit my Brother who still lives in Surprise, and go back to the Burg to visit my old employers on the Ranch I worked on for many tears, when I lived there the POP. was maybe 3 thousand and that number was mostly snowbirds, in the winter, but the town has not really grown that much, maybe by another 3 or 4 thousand, and that is mostly relocated Californians, but nothing is really like it was when I was there, I grew up there in the 70s and 80s, it was much nicer back then, a real Cowboy town, specially during Gold Rush days.

I want something with a little more elevation. I don't mind some snow.

There are no homes in 'west' Wittmann as close to a mountain-hill as the home showed at the 6 minute mark. But the building it's self is very similar to a local 'custom' build of that square foot size on an acre-quarter lot.

Think many times before moving here. The RCSC BOD is a joke. Over the past 20 years they have caused us to be 20 million in debt. Sadly I have watched restaurants, shops, grocery stores leave. It looks like one giant medical office building. Homes are falling apart especially South of Grand Avenue. A lot of rental and Air BNB's now. I don't feel safe any more. Looking to move ASAP

I live in wittmann have been here 20 years and the one thing I can tell you that the new residents have been complaining about once they move is No one told them that we are FREE RANGE out here and that means if u don't want the cows pooping or eating your plants in your yard then you have to have a fence around your property many people are angry when this happens and no one told them so you should include such info for your video and honestly I don't like how many new residents we have been getting thats why we move out here but we can try and are trying to stop it but growth is inevitable.

Getting a tee time at Festival is really tough with only 27 holes of golf. Grand has 4 resort style golf courses all par 72. Access to services if far better in Grand

Brian, Are there any other high end 55+ communities in Scottsdale? Looking for newer home with golf or water views. Sun lakes has some nice homes in the newer area but I haven’t visited and other communities.

That amenities fee is inexpensive, I lived in a Sr community with nice amenities, paid $475 for each person living in the home. I was a care giver for my Disabled brother living with us, I also paid $475 for him. Also the property tax are the lowest, because of no school taxes in Sun City AZ

Hello Brian, I have lived here for over 12 years. I would say the community is showing it's age now in a big way. Too many unkept and neglected properties. SCHOA cannot keep up and enforce all the areas. Phase 1 looks poverty stricken in most places. I do like the quiet charm and the simple Rec centers, but you have urban sprawl and more inner city poverty all around now with Youngtown and old El Mirage. The original Sun City is struggling to maintain itself. I hopes this helps others.
