Kona Hawaii Cruise Port! Visiting Historical Sites & Free Snorkeling at Two Step!

Welcome to our epic Hawaiian adventure! This series documents our very first visit to the Hawaiian Islands and we are so excited to share it with you! During this trip, we will be staying at Aulani: A Disney Resort and sailing on a 7 night Hawaiian cruise onboard NCL Pride of America departing from Honolulu on Oahu and stopping in Kahului Maui, Hilo & Kona Hawaii, and Nawiliwili Kauai!
Today is our second day on the Big Island of Hawaii, but today we are ported in Kona! We ventured on our own visiting a few historical sites in the area, as well as snorkeling at an amazing location called Two Step!

Hi! There is not an admission fee for the snorkeling, just a fee to park at the Pu'uhonua O Honaunau Historical site and the price is at the 11:30 mark of the video. The snorkeling is right next door so you can walk over. There may be parking closer to the snorkeling but I'm not sure. We are also not sure if there is a location to rent snorkel equipment because we had our own. We hope this helps! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢

Loving your videos! Couple of questions... were there options besides Lyft at port to get to rental car? Also, where did you park at the harbor in order to walk to the beach where you saw the turtles? Was there public availability in the parking areas?

Thanks so much! I'm sure there were taxis available at the port, we just didn't look for them since we had a rental car. Where we parked was over by the Honokohau Small Boat Harbor, at the 07:05 mark of the video Matt shows a map of how to get to that area! And yes, public parking was available, we didn't have to pay to park over there. Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
