  • In this episode we chat with Rob Rock of Pitchfork Farm in Vermont. Rob has been organic farming since 2002 and has been an innovator in the field of "slow tools", tools made for human scale, ecological farming. In this wide ranging conversation we dive deep into topics such as the role of technology in small-scale farming, community building and the importance of local business, the future of small farms amidst climate change, and how we all need to take part in designing the future we want.

This is the most inspiring podcast I have ever listened to... great examples of people who are game changers! How come is has only 7 comments, 53 likes, and only 2k views? That is what strikes me most. I hope you can keep on doing things like this, because it makes me grow power to start projects!!

Im subbed to the podcast, i get a notification, then the videos seem to disappear from my feed. I have to search or goto the channel to find and watch these. Not sure if its the length, the type being a podcast, or maybe they do not fit TH-cam's political stance.

51:18 This might be weird and off topic but noticed an orb float in behind JM’s shoulder in the cabinet window - looks like that lady Mary that they were talking about might’ve paid a visit! :) Thanks for the podcast guys very inspiring for an aspiring grower 🌻

Totally. Those were probably the first 2 years in the entire history of the earth in the area of Vermont that it's ever flooded...

I'm not sure that the sea is rising. Very interesting science saying completely opposite of the narrative. Infact climate is going to cool

We have mountains of pictures from more than a century ago, the sea is not and has not risen. Fugazi.
