Just got my Marlin 6 during "Trekfest" as a first time mountain bike rider I found it perfect for my needs. Mostly have ridden it in gravel some rural roads but mostly around the neighborhood and it does just fine. I updated the grips at the store and looking to upgrade the seat post to a suspension post for comfort. Very happy with this bike.

I’m looking to get a bike for cruising around town & some light trail riding. Hoping to get into mountain biking more with this bike, would the marlin 5 gen 2 be a good option. It’s on sale for 599, seems to be a great bang for buck?

Iv a 2019 marlin 6, was purchased for a commuter/ lite trails I'm looking to upgrade for a full-on trail now, but I dont know what to get! Was strongly considering the merlin 8, but a lot of people say the merlin range is just a cx Bike, to look more at the Rosco range. Im lost help lol. For as much as I will be using it i cant justify the Rosco price...

    Hi Chris
I just bought a Marlin 8 for my son. He was using my old 1996 ZX 7000 so he’s used to the 3X chainring. He wants more speed for the road. What upgrades, brand, model do you recommend to increase road speed?

Great video for someone who is not going to do nothing crazy with the bike, which one would you recommend? 5 or 6?

X2 in the front is also is a LOT better for climbing steep inclines compared to a single, so better top speed and better climbing in the 5 vs the 6

M5 is faster 3:1(36/12) vs 2.7:1(30/11) the M6 has better climb 0.65:1(30/46) vs 0.68:1(22/32) I have a 5, love it, climbs really good. Both bikes similar in performance. M6 has Deore derailleur, big upgrade over Altus.

Can you make a video step by step how to assemble a bike ? I have the fx6 and they don’t have any videos how to assemble it. Or is it the same as any cheap brand ? I paid a lot of money for it…

Is that bike smarter than you are? (something my first machine shop boss would say to us new kids, cause I never saw that machine before and had to figure out how to run it.)
