      Definitely a few stick of wood brought into the wood yard. And it's all a pine and spruce mix. Hard to tell exactly when they put through there log processor that takes off most the bark. Cheers 🪵👍🪓🪓

    U should use your four-wheel to move your woodspliter

      I did in the past, unfortunately broke my ball off the quad and never got fixed. Truck to get where needs to be and man handle the unit to get in exact position. For now atleast. Cheers

    Best to stay with the same brand . We didn’t an now I need different chains because they don’t interchange and the scrench is a different size so we need 1 for each saw now . Looks like ya have some nice piles of wood on hand .

      Never did think of that aspect of changing brands. Husqvarna and Jonsered was all my father ran in the bush. So was harsh for me to switch brands and I've never had a major issue with Husqvarna. Make amazing saws! Hopefully got enough to get through 2024🤞🤞 Cheers from Western Canada

    Hey Mr. Armand, nice few truck loads you got, and just in the nick of time too. Neighbour Elaine here, sad to see your honey hole smouldering, but you have a good understanding of the loggers procedures and timelines too. I’m sure you’ll find more before spring break-up. Enjoy the new saw and hope the old one will run smoothly again. Loved the drone shots too! Great video as always, cheers from down the way.

      Hey good Day Elaine. Definitely got a good volume of wood from these piles. And sucks that they get burned up. But all part of the logging business. Usually don't take to long before new piles are found. Just hopefully not to long of a drive from the wood yard. Hope your enjoying this beautiful weather. Cheers from down the road 👍🪵🪓

      @armandshighlife : Yes, it will. So far, it looks to be an advantage of 200 hours a year.

    Hi Armand!!😀😀
    Sounds like you might be having a fuel filter problem. Have you tried a new filter?
    Send your saw to Donny Walker at the Walker saw shop in Nanaimo BC on Vancouver island. He does a great job porting them.
    Take care my friend!!😀😀💚💚

      Hey good day Logger Al
      Ya I tried a new filter. New spark. Filter is pretty bad but don't think it's causing this issue. Still got good compression so want to keep it still. Would be wicked if Donny walker could do my saw. Bit far to send at the moment when it's my daily use saw. Might be something I could do with the older one down the road.
      Have a great week. Cheers 🪵🪓

    Hi man, nice 2023 vs 2024 shot at the end ! How much more wood do you think you have this year ? Also nice to see the new truck doing the work ! In addition with the new trailer, you have a nicer setup to collect wood than last year with the squatted half ton !

    • @armandshighlife
      @armandshighlife  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ya this new truck and trailer set up sure helped bring in more wood this year! And not exactly sure how much more wood over last years. I'd say bit more than double the volume with the boiler Wood pile. Hopefully the growth keeps on growing! Cheers🪵🪓👍

    I have both the 572xp and the 500i. Both are great saws.. 500i has a little more power and lighter but definitely can't go wrong with the 572xp... did you get the heated handles?

    • @armandshighlife
      @armandshighlife  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The 500i was tempting but didn't have the heart to take business away from husqvarna. Always have had great luck with the brand. And no heated handle. Dealer only had the xp in stock otherwise I probably would have gotten the xpg. Needed a saw that day. Cheers Buckin 🪵🪓👍

    what kind of logs do you obtain brother because I see you hand unloading them that would never happen here have to have big equipment to move logs around were I am even 5inc round logs

      We deal with mostly deadstand pine and spruce. Definitely on the lighter side. Main wood that sells around here so works out perfectly for what I got to work with. Cheers from Western Canada 🪵🪓👍
