I like how you explain the (needed) close range of both singers what results in a "healthy" harmonie - i never thought about it. Im pretty sure you know about "Up Where We Belong by Jennifer Warnes and Joe Cocker" - its also a very special harmonie i guess, Joe's bassy, and Jennifer's melodic voice together. It is always astonishing what the human voice is able to do.
