I don't think you or anyone watching this movie now will get a feel like we had when this was released. There was so much to relate to for us then but now so many things have changed drastically that anyone watching this now might think the story is over hyped. It's not. These were the real struggles we went through those days.

This movie was a rage in Telugu film industry when it was released. It’s a Tamil film dubbed into Telugu.
None of the Telugu movie performed at the box office as big as this movie does during that year.

    Hey, Jaby.
Andrew was clearly drowsy during this reaction video, hope he's doing fine now. Please choose to watch a psychological thriller movie only when you guys are fresh/well rested. Such movies need full attention to grasp the nuances.

Andrew Gordon is not who I would've expected as a 'co-host' (co-viewer?) I remember that fight scene reaction you did. Anyways, I know you've filmed all parts already but as you can hear in the movie, the pronunciation of 'Anniyan' is much closer to "onion" than how you've been saying it, Jaby

I was around 7 grade when I watched this... I still remember I watched this with most beautiful Woman I've ever seen till date.I didn't know what was the feeling I was going through ❤ later after I grew up I understand that I had massive crush on her. Since she looks like angel with creamy skin tone, a millionaire married her. At the very next day she turned 18. I was 15 then. Now I am 30 and till date I've never seen a beauty that's matching her.. If I were at least 20 by then I'd have expressed my feelings to her. So guys moral of story, don't delay to express your feelings. They may like you back.❤

Anniyan (STRANGER) was the Baahubali and RRR back in those days,,,the whole nation was taling and raving about the film. SETMax which is a hindi Tv chennaeL, were so obsessed with Anniyan, that they called in the best dubbing artists in India, and dubbed the Tamizh film to hindi. They did a very good job at it too, because Director Shankar himself coordinsted while dubbing. they named the film "Aparichit" which also meant Stranger.
Then came SET Max, wIth thir wild plan, they literally repeatedly the same film on every Saturday OR Sunday or even on both days 🤣🤣🤣🤣. the surprise was that people saw it each time it was on .The title "Aparachit" started becoming as famous as the title "anniyan".
