The lines in the song "Dhivara" are taken from Skand Puran where lord Hanuman is reminded of his powers.
Similarly Shiva (in this movie) is reminded of his powers by those same lines.

You may ask the logic behind some of things at first but when you starts to understand the world, characters,their motives and what these characters signifies, they lives in your mind forever.
Especially when Sivagami points her finger out towards the waterfalls, the background score that hits at that time 🔥🔥🔥

Idk bout others…..but honestly I liked the first part than the second one. If they wanted, a bother 45 minutes of the first part could’ve ended Baahubali, but nonetheless it’s one of the greatest Indian movies ever conceived, both of them.
bro, it could had ended with extra 45 mins.. but then it wouldn't be so popular.. don't you remember the craze of the question "kattapa ne bahubali ko kyun maara?" and 2nd movie didn't feel slow at any point.. it was a well deserving movie, also I liked it more than I liked 1st part.. the only thing I like about part one is that mountain climbing scene tbh😶😶

It's really sad how they didn't use the character of Sudeep,Aslam Khan in the second part.....He promised he would help katappa whenever summoned but don't know why it never happened....the climax would've been a lot better if Aslam came to the rescue in the end
That was initially the idea for Part 2 but Rajamouli thought that would extend the runtime of the film which was already 3hrs long

Bahibali:The Beginning is definitely superior than Bahubali: The Conclusion just like KGF 1 is better than KGF 2
I feel the same too. First one made more sense and had more depth, it also leaves us as the audience what will happen next. 2nd part conclusion felt like a God tier battle sequence with them literally breaking rock statues with their bare fists and elbows

After we watched both films Steph and I said a lot of comments are going to say this lol yup we thought the grandma and mother in the moment were the same but as the films went along it’s made very clear who they both are. My apologies for the mistake

Nice reaction. FYI: Bahu means hand, Bali means Strong in ancient Sanskrit, the great language. Infact though this movie depicts the epics in the past, there were almost similar real heroes. one really named BahuBali who later became a Jain (religion) thirthankara - about a millenium back. this is an imaginary story, and lot of un-realistic stunt / fight scenes ; but there were such almost near un believable many heroes - real - including Vaikom Padmanabha Pillai (18th century) - I'm from his region, I know real stuff, Peshwa Bajirao and many others who can almost equate to Achilles.
this the only Indian movie I remember with so much of foreshadowing

they really chose to upgrade in terms of cg for RRR. First time i watched Bahubali i didn't think the cg was average , actually thought it was good. In a fight, u use the weaknesses of the enemy to win. Here, the bull was out of control....but even after trying to bring it under control, it didn't work so that was the last resort to bring it under control
