One of my favorite video games of all time, I’m hoping to make 2 videos in the new year based on Bomberman 64!! Kicking off will be a showcase of all the custom pieces found in the game... with so many new custom ones!!
I’m not sure if this will be a series so I’ve decided to open this up to requests from the get-go, so if there’s an outfit to piece of clothing you’d like to see, let me know in the comments, you can keep it simple, or request the 4 parts (Head, Body, Arms, and Legs) this was how they were categorized in the original game.
Please know that I may credit you on screen (showing the comment), or might not credit at all (depending on how many I use), so please bear that in mind when leaving a comment.
Feel free to leave a comment about what you liked about this incredible game in general too, it will be pretty useful for when I do my other Bomberman 64 video, but more on that one another time.

Always loved Bomberman Hero and 64 never got the costumes though. Would be awesome to see a Bomber-Kazooie crossover. Whether it's a blue backpack for the body or Kazooie chicken legs for feet.

Well I feel like a Megaman costume is a must, considering he is refered to as the "Blue Bomber".
Also a Metroid suit outfit, since I assume most people are going to suggest the Varia Suit, I would like to suggest Samus' Dread suit.
For some more ideas you could also adapt some Super Bomberman R characters into Bomberman 64 style.
I think Quote from Cave Story would make a good costume. I think Quote’s outfit would look really cute on Bomberman
A power ranger costume would fit so well
Yo I would be _so_ excited to see a Chibi-robo outfit for Bomberman! They both have such cute little eyes I feel like it'd work really well!
I'd also love to see one based on Lyn from Fire Emblem but chibi-robo is my priority lol

Hero's Tunic, A Reference to Link from the Legend of Zelda Franchise, Seeing as Link also uses bombs, The Headpiece will be Link's Green Hat, the Body Piece will be the Green Tunic itself, the Glove/Hand Piece will Link's Brown Gloves, and he will be holding the Master Sword in his Right Hand, and the Leg Pieces will be the Brown Boots, which will complete the entire set
I would love to see Doctor Brown’s outfit (from any of the Back to The Future movies) done in something like this.

I'd been playing Bomberman game for over 20 years and I still love it
It's so good! Frustrating though haha!
Man this was one of my first ever games as a kid! Battle mode was always a blast(pun intended) and TSA introduced one of my most beloved characters as a kid, Pommy. So as for a costume request, probably not as grand as everyone else's, but I think a full on Pommy costume like how Pokemon's recurring Pikachu obsessed trainers dress would be both cute and hilarious.

Would love to see Super Bomberman R's Pink Bomber included as a possible costume!(If specifically for me you could give her blue hands and feet, it's an homage to the classic Player 7 Bomberman palette she is based on and I think it breaks up her colors more, I like it a lot personally.) and MAX from Bomberman MAX as well as he's my favorite character from the franchise but this game predates him by about 2 years.
I love this series and this game so much always cool to see others showing love.
I hope to include some other colors, and I hope to change Red's hands and feet to his usual green, and I was thinking about Max assuming it's the same Max from Generations? 🙂

It's the same character from Bomberman Generation, he appeared in quite a few games after his debut :), Pink Bomber in Super Bomberman R is a bit different from a usual palette swap she has a heart shaped hat over the antennae, she wears a sailor fuku top and her head is more round + face is different from Bomberman's but since the n64 model is already round I don't think much would have to be changed aside from the face.
Changing the Bomber's to their correct color palettes would actually be really cool, none of them are supposed to wear tights except White Bomber lol but they all are in this game for some reason.
How about a Wario and Waluigi skin or costume for Bomberman? Since Bomberman and black Bomberman are like rivals and later brothers and friends! Wahahah! Wahluigi!!
as a person addicted to this game as a kid i never knew about the costumes, the battle mode is Very fun, And I was too stupid for the history
How about a bomberman dressed as Bean the Dynamite? Or simply a blue bomberman dressed as Sonic
How about adding some customization to the bombs as well? I'd love to have the wind waker's cartoony smoke explosion.

I remember playing this. The 2nd playthrough had the most obtuse puzzles I've ever seen.never finished it.
I would like to see Bomberman wearing the same clothes that Eric (from Eric and the Floaters, the very first Bomberman game) wore. Those are a white hat with red feather, green shirt, pink overalls and white shoes.
Oh my god a cloud strife outfit would be INSANE! Maybe also something outside of games like the tunic 100 gecs seems to be wearing lateley or a tyler the creator themed costume based around his iconic clothing style!
This is a neat ideas! I don't really have any costume ideas in mind though.

I would love to see the costumes from the Pilotwings 64 characters in this style. Would also love to see Shenmue related costumes be featured!
I don't really know the characters in Pilotwings, pilot outfit would be fitting though, and Shenmue's jacket would be awesome! :)
Paper Bomberman! Instead of his normal bombs, he can use Bombette.
What about a Wario costume referencing Wario Blast? The head should include the iconic mustache.
It would be nice if Bomberman was dressed as Megaman.

We absolutley need an Olimar Costume for Bomberman. I think it would fit him perfectly.
I would love to see a Kirby using Bomberman Copy ability
I like the idea of a Halo Mijolnir hat, specifically either the EOD or Grenadier helmets seem fitting for a Bomberman, although admittedly Grenadier is a little funky to differentiate from just a standard Mk 4/5/7 helm as its mostly an up-armored Mk 5 with extra chinguard and a more goggles-y visor. If you wanted to do other pieces for the other slots, they could easily share the same chest/hands/boots, as EOD doesn't have terribly unique non-helmet armor variants like Grenadier's chest and all Mijolnir is decently aesthetically compatible, so long as its from the same game.

Ooh, I think there are lots of options to choose from to customise this bomberhero! I'm going to toss a suggestion too: Phoenix Wright, from the Ace Attorney series. Because why not? :P

How about a costume based on Bomb Man from Mega Man (also his Net Navi counterpart from Battle Network, also known as BlasterMan in NT Warrior)? Also a voltorb hat, a bob-om hat and costumes based on Michael Bay, Gem and Gemma from Power Rangers RPM, Junkrat from Overwatch, Demoman from TF2 and Kokkol Dankkol from FFXIV Endwalker.
Also for non-explosive stuff, a costume based on a piposaru from Ape Escape with a piposaru wearing a Bomberman costume for good measure?

I dunno if its already in the games, but what about the dastardly bombers from bomberman 2-3? they have unique designs that would be fun to see in a 3d enviroment.
