Great video, and looks awesome!!! I've been running my stock 790 Adventure S like this for about a year but mostly because all that gear you have is quite expensive... haha! I've stripped off so far; rear pegs, rear grab-handles(Dangerous), tag mount, brush guards, stock mirrors for single foldable. I just use a small tailbag/hydro-pak 90% of the time for Motocross/Enduro adventures.
Good channel. I subscribed. I like that decal kit. Really changes the look. Perhaps you might think about getting a good skid plate and ditching the lower crash bars too. I ride my 890 R on single track all the time and see no need for the added weight. Along with removing the side plastics and passenger pegs as you did, I also changed out the stock batt for a lithium and saved another 6 lbs.
It's already got a great aftermarket skid plate. The bars weigh maybe 3 lbs? I doubt anyone would notice that. Got the lithium battery too! A good way to shave a few pounds up high.
I think my 2019 790 is butt ugly. Especially that praying mantis headlight. They fixed that on the 2023 models now I’m hoping someone will come out with an aftermarket solution to upgrade the pre-23 models to the 23 headlamp look.

My favorite mod is heated hand grips. My hands get cold easy so they run quite often on chilly mornings if on a big trip.
Can't go wrong with heated grips!

Just paint the crash bars black and leave them on. They won't stick out that way. Every year I touch up my crash bars because I end up dropping it.
I think I'd like to get them powder coated at some point...

Are the orange plastics from the "S" model? Did the "S" plastics come off of another 790 or did you order them new?
