  • If you’re like me, you most likely find yourself doing thorough research on any equipment you choose to use on your Overlanding rig.
Equipment is a worthy investment, to which tires are at the top of that list.
I’ve recently purchased Toyo Open County AT3’s. 215/70R16
Originally, I wasn’t so sure about these Toyo’s, but now I really like them
I decided to put them to test for you!
    For the first 1,000 miles.
In this video I will be giving my honest feedback on what I think of the AT3’s.
Hopefully this video will help guide you on your tire buying decisions.
As always, thanks for joining me on my journeys!

Thank you for going outdoors and testing these tires. I’ve been looking for reviews and all I come across is a bunch of bitch Alfa dudes in miss me jeans who summarize the specs of the tires and invite you to their shop or website for deals.
Again thank you and I hope you continue to enjoy everything you do.
Omg girl, if this ain’t a complete review of these tires, then I don’t know what is! IMO your video is the top review for these AT3s.

good video. I can definitely say the locker and a modified center diff (switch lock for sf/sg forester - dccdpro for sh and up) make a world of difference.
I'm thinking about the open country at3 for my next set, my coopers were good but not as puncture resistant as i would have liked. your review has definitely strengthened my opinion.

Well done! Subbed! I have KO2s on my Forester. I recently switched back to my stock street tires since I'm stuck in class for another quarter. I was shocked at how smooth, light, and quite they are! I think that I got a little too aggressive by choosing the KO2s. They are excellent off road, but at the expense of daily drivability, sound, economy. I agree with you, the sweet spot is the Toyo Open County AT3 😀

Hello, I'm from Colombia, the video is very good. I have a Kia Mohave/Borrego with original size 265/60 R18 and I want to go to 265/65 R18 on AT tires and I am between the BF GOODRICH KO2, the TOYO AT3 and the BAJA LEGEND EXP, or other good tire. my driving is 80% highway and 20% off road, we don't have snow but a lot of rain. Thanks for your help.

    • @aint_onmyrocker
      @aint_onmyrocker  ปีที่แล้ว

I personally would stay away from the KO2’s if your only going off-road 20% of the time. They are a very heavy tire & aggressive. It will definitely worsen your fuel economy, at least it did for me.
I personally think the Toyos are a great tire, but it really comes down to your personal preference

    • @aint_onmyrocker

Yes! I am averaging 250ish miles per tank VS 200 miles per tank. I also re-did my platform that I sleep on, as well as took out my passenger front seat.
I dropped about 70 pounds or so doing that. That helped me as well.
