Thank you for taking the time to make this. I checked all the tunes and had nothing in them. I pulled out the drain pump to make sure I got the right one and there was a silk tassel from one of the throw blankets sitting there smiling at me.
My machine had 3 bolts I had to remove before pulling out but because you made this seem like it was something I vlciuld do, I finally found them

And I did it! I cleaned the filter which was disgusting, patted myself on the back, still have error. Watched your video, the blow test failed and my shoulders sunk. I looked in and saw something physically blocking the drain. Tried everything to get it out, but it was bigger than the plastic piece that housed the filter. Back to watch more video. I flipped it on its side like you said, found the black drain hose and found the offender. There was a broken plastic coin that folded in half and then got wedged against the housing where the filter goes into. Wouldn't let the water drain. Thank you again! If you are ever in Estero, FL I owe you a beer or coffee your choice!

THANK YOU so much for this comment!!! This pointed me to look closer in the video about checking the other holes around the drain filter. There was a huge hairball stuck in the left hole in mine.

This video was really spot on, you walked me through what I thought I would not be able to do and did it in a way that made it look easy. Turns out it was a nickel stuck in my pump output, saved me hundreds of dollars. Thank you again!

I got the 5C message on a different Samsung model. My fix was what you showed in the first 2 minutes of your video. So glad I got away with just this, because I would've not tried the rest on my own. This saved me time and money and I was happy in no time! Thank you for the entire material, for empowering people to go about some things on our own. ❤️❤️❤️

Bro, bro, bro, bro, THANK YOU SO MUCH HOLY SHIT, everything I read online explained how to clean the filter or level the machine out or check the drain hose height, make sure the drain hose isn't clogged and all that, but I couldn't figure out the problem even after all of that, I am very busy as I work 12 hours a day therefore I have very little time to mess with the machine but I haven't been able to afford to get it looked at either, thank God I didn't because your video explained how the drain system works in regards to where the water filters out of and there was a HUGE CLOG. Thank you again you saved my ass on this one

Although my pump looked a little different the steps were the same! Was able to fix it myself shoutout to you man great video. Only thing I’d mention is probably try to get better angles in some of the shots you were out of frame but I made it work. I feel more confident next time I gotta fix something 😁😁

This video helped me fix it! I followed the manual already and cleaned out the filter, but I didn't realize the hole should be clear at the end. Mine was completely blocked by a plastic piece with lettering on it. It looked like it was supposed to be there! When I watched this video, I saw there was an open hole where the filter came out. Thank you! Washer worked when I pushed the plastic piece out of the way. Now it's just in there floating around somewhere. Do not know where it came from...

Great video. Without your guidance, it would have been straight to the scrap for our machine, but you gave me the impetus to at least try and save it 1st. 😅
i have cleared all the pumps, pipes & filter on our machine, but it doesn't drain the water after a spin cycle.
The impellers on both pumps rotated in 90-degree intervals in a snapping motion. Is this the correct function?
When the cycle runs, it completes without any error codes, but the drain pump doesn't even attempt to run to drain the drum. Does this mean it needs replacement pumps? Or is there a reset that would need to be done on the machine?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

My washer was giving me 4C and 5E error codes (fill and drain errors) I replaced the inlet valve and drain pump and still had the issue. Turns out the hose to the pressure sensor was kinked around a suspension rod and fixing this fixed the issue. It makes sense because the sensor thought it was empty when it was trying to fill and thought it was full when it was trying to drain

The Add Door is being detected as open or unlocked. Make sure there isn't anything keeping the door from closing securely. This message might also appear if you open the Add Door without pausing the cycle first. To add laundry, press the Add Door to close it properly, then press START/PAUSE to try again. Turn the machine off and restart the cycle.
