    Hi everyone! Let me know if you have any questions about the Voronoi texture node in the comments below! :)

      How do i change any of the values over time? Giving it that effect of cycling textures?

      can we make scraches with this node I think yes just have to spent a bit time on it

    Wow, always used this texture but never really knew in detail what I was doing. Thanks for showing everything and also pointing to the Blender website's description on this, never knew that it was written so well that it's easy to understand. As always, thank you for your videos!

    Fantastic, I have been trying to find information about this after seeing it in Substance. Didnt even know it was in Blender.

    Can you post a beginner tutorial on the Voronoi texture node, the above is too advanced for me

    As the ancient wisdom goes: when you are ready to learn, a teacher will appear. Your videos are what I was looking for. Short. Precise. Informative. Exactly what noobs like myself need when starting to work with blender.

      Well I am enjoying learning the nodes more in-depth, so there will definitely be at least a few more

    Great! I never knew you could do so much with noise. Fun fact, Voronoi was named after a guy named Georgy Voronoy. Y?

    One question: is it possible to use this node to embed a grid texture into the model itself? I'm trying to make a prop to 3D print and the grip area needs an actual physical texture to it.

      This isn't really a compliment in my mind - if I had to categorize it...maybe it's rude? I'm not sure

    Hi Justin thanks for all the useful tutorials. Would you know how to create displacement in Voronoi textures> Thanks

    yo! is there any way to export the voronoi texture as an image? I am trying to bring the texture in with my model to Mixamo but cant figure out how to export the voronoi texture. I love you

    I want to make a material that puts one "corner" of the colored voronoi cells inside each face (if the scale is 1), and have this material be able to apply to basically any mesh, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do this. I'm pretty certain I can do it with 2D voronoi noise and maybe a geometry info node, but not sure how to go about it.

    Everything I needed to know, nothing I didn't 👍🏻 One question, is it possible to use this to get actual alternating brick alignment, or is it locked to subway-tile style grids?

    • @captainbruhbeard8950
      @captainbruhbeard8950 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There's a Brick Texture node that would get you the pattern you're looking for. I don't know if it has as many adjustable parameters as Voronoi though

    • @glittalogik
      @glittalogik 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@captainbruhbeard8950 That sounds way more practical :) Bricks tend to have a finite number of different variations IRL so that makes sense.

    I for the life of me can't figure out how to export an FBX that contains a material that uses a Voronoi texture, I've read a bit into why this is the case and it makes sense. I've seen some workarounds with baking the Voronoi out to a static texture and then using it like any other, but this kind of defeats the point to me. Any pointers or ideas? My ultimate goal here would be usage in Unreal Engine (if that is meaningful).
