Mariah Alice had some harrowing experiences in the snow and yes I think you might too if you hang about in it. Beautiful though it is, yes it's cold and well, pity about your plants. Eliza seems to enjoy it though.

I just love your videos. I am a 62 year old woman and you are living my dream. I am also a desert lover, I live in the high desert now but I spent a good portion of my childhood in the very low desert, so I love it. Thank you for sharing your life.

I hope she survives! Keep us posted 💜 Maddie, you can purchase this fabric (it’s more like a paper) to cover your plants in frost. It’s relatively inexpensive, but what I’d do next time is wrap them up somehow..put them in a cardboard box with a few handwarmer packs in there and line the box with foil , with the frost paper on top or some type of blanket over it. Safe travels 💕

I camped up in Flagstaff years ago in my Ford Econoline van conversion. I had a heater in my van and a small space heater. There were a couple of large campsites up in the pine forests with electric hookups and even some showers that were half decent. I hooked up my crockpot and made a lamb stew. Got a bottle of whiskey and my cat and I enjoyed a small campfire under the snowy pines sipping some lovely hot coco laced with whiskey. We slept cozy warm that night. Ps: you can place a plastic trash bag over your plants and that will stop any freezing process!❤❤❤❤😎🏜🌈🇺🇸

Hi Maddie, I work in the healthcare field which is really busy at times. I get a lot of relief by watching your videos. I feel as though I am living vicariously through your adventures which gives me some relief from my very busy work environment while going to grad school for my doctorate.. Keep up the great work! You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Omg please keep us updated on the little sprout. I hope it grows back! I'd be so sad if my plants died. Also thought I'd mention that I love how peaceful your voice is♡

Maddie if the roots didn't freeze solid those will grow back just fine---trim them back so they don't loose any moisture---go get'em girl!

In areas with jumping cholla and the like, Carry a comb too if you have one. It’s the easiest way to pull a “chunk” off you, your clothes, your pup.
