Camper van build outs are so much work but so rewarding. Looks like you're diving right in! Drawing out plans with measurements is the best method. I did it with my tiny trailer first. I can't wait to see the final build....always get a fun fact from Nick...how many languages does he speak?

I don't know if you recall, but after a marriage split & being a single woman in my early to now mid 30s.. you inspired me to do some travel alone, and a year ago today I took my first short solo flight from London to Amsterdam which was a big deal as I'm scared of flying.. since I've travelled solo to Prague, Berlin, Lisbon and flew out to France to work for the summer.. Well I want to say a massive thank you for inspiring me to go out and do things.. I'm currently sitting at Heathrow awaiting to aboard a flight to Bangkok to spend the next 4 weeks solo in Thailand (so have gone back on a lot of your Thailand blogs).. I'm still petrified of flying and having never stepped outside of Europe nervous of what awaits me but you helped me give me courage to do this.. thank you and hope you are having the time of your life in New Zealand with your van adventure. Great video, Mari with full size van you could have added a shower, a compost toilet and small fridge. Maybe next project lol.
Yeah that'd be cool! Will have to have a much bigger budget though 🙈
I usually just spray the molds with clorox and let it air out overnight or while I'm at work and the smell is gone in the morning or by the time I get home from work and so are the molds.
I'll try that next time!
After seeing this and the Tubi van conversion i'd be afraid that i would pull out all of the interior materials, panic at the amount of work that needs to be done and probably end up driving around a van with no interior fittings for years. Looks like quite an imposing task.
Looks like you guys are doing well though, good luck, should be really cool once its all done.
haha... it's really not so bad :) It's a lot of work, but it some of the most fun I've ever had in my life! Sure there are times when you get pretty frustrated, but you get over that pretty quick once the task is done. I loved the experience so much I am already thinking about doing it again :)
Yep, what she said! But I know what you mean, it's very daunting at first! The best thing is to just focus on one thing at a time!
