Quick’s RNG is consistently among the worst I’ve ever witnessed. Conversely, Chillin’s luck in these challenges is nearly unfathomable

You guys could do a challenge where you don’t get any skips and instead get 3 evolves. Could make it a little interesting
this is a a great idea , you could have 3 keep 3 evolve and 3 skips so that way it’s more of a decision to skip as you don’t know is it worth evolving that one or wait for a better junior mon
I really enjoy both the evolve and not-evolve videos. Not every battle needs to be the most competitive to be fun. The raid boss swirly was hilarious and fun to watch.

If present heals 20% of the time, 24pp would give an expected value of 4.8 pokemon, so it wouldn't take being super unlucky to end up without a team of six...

I've been waiting for a random items (besides the usual random stuff) battle for AGES, and it would be in theme with the whole Christmas presents thing, lol. Maybe not even random items, just use items at least once? It could be cool!! :)
I'm thinking all Pokemon have random items. You can swap items around, maybe needing to use a pokemon if you want to use it's item. Extra fun if a pokemon is holding a master ball you get to use that masterball in the challenge, regardless of the rules. (Of course Chillin is most likely to get it but that's just the luck.)

Don't want to diss on your math capabilities Chillin but with 20% chance of healing you don't need to be super unlucky to end your 24 PP without having 6 pokemon.

Already have a drawback 20% of the time that is even worse than simply missing
Idea: You can only catch Pokémon that are NOT FULLY EVOVED. You can either keep it and evolve it or trade it to your opponent. You each have 2 skips and ONE EVIOLITE to give to one lucky baby.

Each one takes turns either taking a number from the others box or stealing a mon the other already has.
Only 3 steals allowed per person

I love the idea of this challenge. Had my own idea, “chosen by god”. Max out thunder pp, use it on random encounters, if they live or it misses you catch it.

I have an idea for a video. "Precognition": you pick 1 through 3 six times. Then load up your randomized starter selections and that's what you get in order.
Rules:
1. 2 skips aloud but you must take that same slot on the next three.
2. No evoles, you get what you get.
3. Items allowed.
4. Randomized abilities.
Here’s a video idea! You encounter a random pokemon and catch it (your choice on if legendaries involved or fully evolving babies), the next pokemon you catch MUST be strong to that type and you catch the first one you find randomly, repeat for the remaining team. So if your first catch is water, your next pokemon must be a grass or electric type, if you catch grass the next must be fire, flying, ect.
Video idea: randomized starters in sword and shield, quiz a pokemon fact. If they get it right they get to choose from the 3 otherwise the asker chooses for them. Also no evos
VIDEO IDEA for 2024 - Do a tournament guys! Either a 'Region vs Region' or a 'Type vs Type'
No legendaries or dynamax, fight with 6 Pokemons caught in 30 mins (so both have a chance to find the best non-legendary pokemons)

You each spin the wheel and can only catch the animal you land on! There’s lots of animals and I would consider dragons and fairies their own animal categories! Dogs/Cats/Fishes/Reptiles(snakes,lizards,crocs)/Hooved animals(horses,cows, buffalo, donkeys)/Rodents/Dragons/Fairies
Probably should’ve done 48 uses of present by default, as .20*24 is less than 6, so you’d expect to get less than 6 Pokémon per 24 presents lmao.
This was an interesting form of catching challenge. Perhaps a babies only challenge as a suggestion.

the catching part was hilarious this way, I loved it. But it was a bit boring for the fight part, since it was very one sided. but that was just due to pure luck.

the Master Ball muscle memory is crazy
Definitely a good idea to keep them unevolved, but this would also be awesome to see as a spending challenge. You get 24 presents to give to any mons you see, but you can only catch the mons that heal.
Mathed out, you get 4 chances per mon for a team of 6, but you could risk running out of pp by staying on one mon too long.
I feel like the probability of present healing the pokemon was too low - you needed to allow avoids as the challenge dragged on a bit!
Make a challenge with initial pokemon (randomized), and each turn one of you choose left, right or middle for your team and the other will pick the same, with 3 skip each. So if you choose left, but the other skip even you skip. This until you have both 6 pokemon.
Mantyke definitely pulled its weight. Enjoyed having you not fully evolve, really added another challenge to the overall competition.
Chances are you won't be able to read this as you've grown massively since lockdown, but as you have banned moves that are OP, why not ban bad abilities, like truant or slow start?
A video idea I thought of, hopefully you have not done it before. What if you spin a wheel to choose a Pokémon type in one way or another, and then both of you at the same time go for that Pokémon type, the one that spins being their turn will try to get a good Pokémon for themselves, the other person that didn't spin tries to get a bad Pokémon for their opponent, first person to catch will be the chosen Pokémon. Then visa versa until you have your team, maybe been done before I am not sure.
I feel like for this challenge the specifically you could have done fully evolved. Literally all that was seen was babies 😂

challenge: Catch a team of 9 random pokemon. When finished, flip a coin to determine the evolution state of each of the 9 pokemon. Heads= 1 evolution up. Example. A charmander who gets a coin flip heads will go up 1 stage to become a charmeleon. Tails = 1 de/evolutionary stage down. example a charmader who gets a coin flip tails, cannot go any lower but will be brought in full circle to a fully evolution state ie a charizard. another example is a heads on a charizard will bring it in full circle back to a charmander, and a tails on a charizard will be a charmeleon after going down by 1 stage. after doing this to the 9 randomly caught pokemon you can chose the 6 you like for battle. skip all non evolutionary pokemon in your random encounters for this challange

What about a color knockout wheel challenge? All the colors that Pokémon are filed under, put that into a wheel, spin and hunt a Pokémon under that color, and then battle. No legends. Babies are viable options.

Okay but he wasn't sure who he could trust either, everything he does is in order to protect the balance of the 3 realms. He is very much an "ends justify the means" type of character.
Also, saying that no one calls him out our says anything about it is just flat out wrong. Hiyori literally looks him in the face and tells him that he better not be sending Ichgo and the gang to the Soul Palace as pawns to get slaughtered, which he 100% was doing. Also, Urahara isn't shown as anything but grey (at best) as a character. Anytime he gets serious he is drawn in a way that is meant to signal that there's something off about him compared to the rest of the good guys in the cast. Narrowed eyes with a straight mouth that tells the person he's fighting/talking to "i will destroy you for the greater good and have no qualms about it afterwards." His silly demeanor is 100% painted as a facade that he puts forward to people, in order to delude their image of him. Think about that scene with Hiyori where he respondes in a laxadezacle manner that he uses to brush her off by basically saying "Whhaat? Me? Neeevvveerr that's crazy dawg."
I have an idea for a video. I hope it's good. You catch a team of 6 Pokémon. Whatever level their evolution is what you get. But you can only fully evolve 1.
The next time you guys decide on this concept of using presents too decide how bout should the poke use a move that causes the present to miss that poke goes to the other. Could also incorporate the same with present mssing.

Idea for a CHRISTMAS DUEL:
Catch pokemon from random encounters, then check to see if they can learn present. If they can, you can use the mon. Make a team of six, replacing one move of your choice on each with present. No evolving.
Then battle each other. You can only use present UNLESS it misses, heals, or the other mon is immune. Once that happens, you can use any of the moves on your current pokemon until it faints or you switch out.
I quite enjoy having a mix of babies, evolved and legendaries! I feel sorry for Quick, but hopefully he will do better next time!
