@@YouVerseUSA depends what state you are living in and the area. But you can buy a cheap apartment, not a nice one, for sure. But idk if it would be reliable income because you may want to quit fast.
It is worth it, easily. Because you can choose to only work 3 days out of the week, and have 4 days off. It's not really hard work lol. What is wrong with this generation. Come work at harbor frieght.
Great video...I have had dream jobs my whole life, working for the Lakers, and recently 3 seasons with the NFL (as a Director). Note NFL days were 12-15 hour days..I would walk 12-19 miles around the stadium per game. Painful at first, years later, piece of cake. Note to the younger generation, work is work. Stay positive, put in the grind, nothing is easy no matter what job or position you work in. At least at Amazon your not outside in the elements. I worked sporting events, in the cold, rain, extreme heat etc..Its being part of the team what makes it special..
I just got a full time warehouse job at amazon I. A new warehouse they built in my city! I’m so excited to be making good money as a 20 year old! Nobody wants to pay a kid a living wage or take them seriously ! Unless you have a degree but how am I supposed to pay for college if I don’t have a decent paying job to afford college ?! I’m grateful for this opportunity
This job will provide so many opportunities! Whether you plan to stay in the Amazon community or to use the money for college tuition! Good luck to you in the new location!

thank you so much for all these videos i have a lot of anxiety and your videos have really helped me feel less nervous about my first day tomorrow ! great video
I have an interview with them on Monday, hopefully I get hired. Gonna start working there as a side hustle with my acting career and college. Hope it goes well.
I've just moved into a new house and i had a security job pay for $20 an hour. I was working at Bank of America just standing and going on patrols every hour, easy money for 8 hours. However i just learned a few days ago i can't go back due to Bank of America laying off all their security staff. So i had to take a job an hour away at Amazon for $5 less. It sucks but I'm hoping since I've done weird hours of the night being a security guard and doing exhausting work as a custodian that i can make this job work for awhile until i find something better. Thanks for the videos. Really has helped me make ny decision to do this. Even though I'm not thrilled about taking a pay cut and an hour commute. Hopefully there will be some higher job opportunities within the company.
I could deal with over $1,000 every two weeks. I do housekeeping and for the $$$ housekeepers have to do it's not worth it. This is an upgrade to what I'm doing right now and I am going to look into doing Amazon.
Just started working last August here in th UK and never looked back. I used to work in a cheese factory, so comparing it to Amazon's is a no brainer. I'd choose Amazon in a heartbeat. My motivation? Since I'm making a new gaming PC project which costs a lot in one go, I'd divide the purchases into weeks until it's complete. Each week I have one part to buy. Hopefully, people will have the will to do it rather than complain "I'm tired", or "it's too much work". It's really puts me off having people complaining at work because it's contagious. But anyways, it's worth it. Regarding my project, I'm saving £100 each week for the GPU. As soon as the RTX 3090 is available at its base price, my project will be complete.
Wow! Great job on your presentation and the detailed information of your salary. You have done more than 75% of Federal employees are not able to do after working for the govt more than 10 years. Your knowledge and tone is on point. Keep up the good work. Wishing you success in all that you do 🙏🙏
Thank you for your videos. I’ve seen a lot of negative feedback on Twitter about working at Amazon. Watching your videos was reassuring. I will go ahead and apply. There’s a FC opening up in my area next month
Oh wow that's great timing! You'll get it for sure, and yeah I see the negative stuff on like reddit and other platforms too. It is what it is I guess 🤷♂️
The money at Amazon is actually quite good, I’ve been working at Amazon since June, I got my first wage slip on the 26th June and I’ve made around £3,100 up until the 18th September, so I’ve made around £3,100 in just under 3 months
@@hafizur91 Thats what I'm expressing with the SCREAM!!! I've started there yesterday after day 0&1 The wage is £450 a Week in UK. (days 10hrs, +covid bonus) I'm a IT Engineer. Used to going around in a Van for between £662 to £940 if I do 7days on call. I don't understand 3k in 3 months they mentioned.
I've just finished my first week. It's not easy, but everyone I've met has been really nice. Im not entirely enjoying trying to scan 300+ packages per hour. Especially because there is a certain amount of scheming at my warehouse to get good numbers. I got to be a social distancing advocate one day, I was just told to make sure everyone was 6ft apart, it was kinda fun. All in all, I see a few small issues and I'm brainstorming solutions before bringing them up. Benefits are fantastic for myself and my daughter. I wanna see if I'll be able to work hard and climb the ranks so I can help make a positive change.
@@NFZProductions Thank you! Actually today I came in top 4 for scanners and I was told that for my 5th day that's really good! I hope we can wear costumes on Halloween. 👀
I start first week of January and I honestly hope its worth it cause I got two small ones at home ! Doing 4 days a week at 10 hours shifts ! And have been watching all of your Amazon videos to try and get a idea !
A pretty good job if you want to have the flexibility of starting your own business. I started my own business recently, and also work in an Amazon warehouse. You can accomplish a lot with 3 days off, don't have to take any work home with you, and is relatively low stress while providing a decent income. Not a bad situation!
You hit it right on the head! People who work at Amazon and that have a vision (like starting there own business or saving for college etc) seem to be more happier bc they can see the light at the end of the tunnel. If you don’t have a vision and your looking at Amazon as a career.. it’ll take a toll on your life.
Awesome! that's my thinking, tempted to apply for a 6am-10am shift 4 days a week that has come up at Amazon just 10 minute drive away. works out around £750 a month. I'm earning around £1200 a month after tax on my small business, I started it when I got made redundant from my previous job because of covid. So 4 hour shifts and home by 10.30am would be awesome to get things done the rest of the day. I actually spoke to my former employer about coming back but as part time but they said they would want me full time only. Problem is its 8.30-5.30pm monday to friday with an hours commute each way. My business would suffer a lot if i went full time, makes sense to go part time so this would be perfect. My bills are £900 a month for everything (split with my partner each month). so to take in roughly £1950 with my business and part time would be great!
Just started in CT my new mantra in life heading into my 6:30 PM to 5 AM shift is, “I AM AWAKE FOR THE CAKE BABY” it’s working pretty well. Shout to Red Bull
My first time watching your channel and I love it and I also work at Amazon FC and I’m 19 it’s my 3 month and it’s ok and it really builds character, I’m looking forward to see more advice from your channel
Amazon should have pay brackets and or bonuses for people who do triple the work of others... I love watching the stowers sit there with empty shelves waiting for the next package while aisles on both sides of them are overflowing lol.
Thank you for showing and giving us an insight on the gross, net, and weekly pay including what was one of my concerns how much tax estimate that they may take out... love the vid and really appreciate it.!!! keep them coming ! :) By the way I am a subscriber now :) yaay

Loved the video , it was informative , short , & interesting and made me feel more comfortable about working with Amazon because I just recently applied.
i start amazon july 1st. i went to the hire event gave my ids and took my pictures. when i applied i picked the shift 6:00pm to 4:30. the email they sent me for my first day says 8pm. should i go at 6 or 8?
Thankyou Bro for not having any BS. Just perfect videos and introductions. Thankyou. Working 3 days on and 4 off works for me. Being 18 and in great shape it's a good job. And I live in Florida where taxes are very very low
Bro $15 an hour is peanuts it's just like Bernie Sanders said starvation wage no wonder why there is so many billionaires because they don't pay shit to their employees
@@elismellsgood I guess it all depends where u live a rent easily goes for around $1000 , my mortgage it's $1800 and my sports car payment is $500 a month there is no way I could afford all that by myself working at Amazon where you guys are everything is probably cheaper but here at $17 an hour in my opinion is considered too low time to unionize to make Jeff bezos pay for pension for our retirement and hopefully the next Democrat president will tax the shit out of him
@@josesemino8284 Where you live play's a big part of it. If you are used to living in expensive places where rent costs around $1000 per month, it makes sense to call $15/hr way too low. But there are other places where it isn't a bad wage at all. Take Oklahoma city for example. Last year, I saw several very nice neighborhoods with nice new brick houses (4 bed/2 bath with garage) selling for around $150k. The average 30 year mortgage payment would put you close to $700 per month for that. But on the opposite end of the scale, take San Francisco as an example. They literally have low income at $40/hr or less ($60/hr if you have a family). Personally I think minimum wage needs to be more regulated at the local level as opposed to the federal level.
Definitely. The strain that warehouse work puts on your body later down the line $15 is not worth it. Everyone should be starting off at least $20 in any warehouse. My cousin's job at Dunkin Donuts warehouse he brings in around 1500.00 a week as an order selector. Those order selecting jobs really pull in the money.
Seeing most people complain about working at amazon, I'd like to see them work in a field on a hot summers day working for less pay. This generation is kinda ungrateful.
Yo, so i applied and immediately was able to chose my shift, the next step was to go to the hiring event on a date that i was able to chose. does this mean im actually hired already? pls reply.
Yes, they prolly will send you a link to watch a video and then go to an in person where they need your id and social. They get your badge and then you start.
Do you have the option of them cutting a paper check and them handing out to you on payday or is it direct deposit? I kinda prefer to go to the bank on Fridays. . .You're a load of information my man.
$15.00 you need to ask for a raise. In Kentucky there paying 18 to 20 an hour. Plus you wouldn't have made that much if you had all ur benefits taken out from ur check which wasn't
@@angelhdz1527 not trash you work on your own the majority of the time there is brake rooms everywhere small ones so you dont have to walk all the way to the main big ones you can carry your lunch box and just sit by your station and snack thats what i do . The part that drives you nutz is that your doing the same thing for 10 to 12 hours after your 30 days your able to change shift time or position .
A good way to beat the federal income tax part is to start a good cash side hustle from home and every year if you have a good tax accountant they can make it look like that you took a loss instead of gain and that way you can claim that and get a fatter federal tax return at the end of the year.
Been working at an AMXL warehouse for a month and a half. Honestly, it’s been a great time. Yes, the job is long and tiring but besides that, I really can’t complain. When I applied, I expected to work at a normal warehouse like you worked on, but I was assigned in XL. Idk if you can choose where you want to work in, but XL is fun cause you can sometimes or most of the time be on PITs
I start here this Friday 17.90 a hr 3 days a week I worked here last year for a week lol it was 15 on the 4 day shift the weekend shift seem more doable
I start on the 13th of August... alot of other videos ive seen started to freak me out but yours makes me feel somewhat better... guess its just nerves... Got any advice? Ill be in a fulfillment center
I work at a FC and really the only advice I can give it come in with a positive attitude. And maybe watch some of my other Amazon videos if you have the time!
You usually are only offered extra shifts that are similar to your own. So if you usually have 10 hour shifts, you will probably only be offered a 10 hour extra shift.

themad nomad Factory work is different-they make the products. This is a warehouse-they store and ship the products. But yeah its not bad for a warehouse job at all. I keep getting denied due to failure of the assessment but it never let me take it on my phone :( so I have to wait til 6 months are up to reapply. It’s almost here but it sucks. I miss making money and having my bills up to date
Hey I have a problem, 3 weeks ago I went to the hiring process for full-time warehouse employee, I passed drug test and background, but Everytime I try to schedule a shift none are available and they said that my info came back late so all the slots for that position has been filled. So of course I'm very upset, but now today I applied a seasonal position, would you recommend I take that or I wait for a full-time position to open from the first application I was hired for???? Do you think it I take the seasonal position that I could become full-time??? Please help
Quite noble you'll do that type of work. Tons of young people today complain about this and that. " Oh it's too hot! Too many hours! " Blue collar work is frowned upon in this society, too many ungrateful people. Rather it be Trucker, Carpenter, warehouse work, plumbing or electrician. My parents taught me to never look down on a man working and providing for himself & his offspring. This Covid-19 humbled a lot of people. Folks who once had office jobs making 100k or reduced down to making nothing or unemployed. Same people who looked down at those blue collar guys are looking for those jobs or another stimulus check.
Thanks man, I didnt see this job as a problem I knew what I was getting myself into. And plus, I see it as an opportunity to be employed especially during times like this
If i work the first couple weeks full time then decide to change to part time in a couple weeks, will that be an issue or its no problem changing shifts and schedules etc.? Because idk if i like my schedule rn but i wanna test it out for a bit.
Can't change shifts right away. need to work for a while in order to be able to do that. Best best would be to cancel your application (if you already chosen a shift schedule but you don't want it) and then reapply to change your shift schedule
I work at Amazon Prime Now warehouse and get paid biweekly because I'm a regular associate. I work 30hrs/wk (5hrs/day). I've been working since November 2019 and it's been fine so far. We have completely flexible schedules here in VA so I guess shift hours depend on sites.
@@NFZProductions yea I used to get paid weekly when I started off as a seasonal associate. Idk about others but amazon let people choose between flexible or fixed schedule when applying.
@@NFZProductions How can you call HR when you cant carry your phone, is HR in the building front or back, does the warehouse have phone, do you have to make an appointment, how do you make an appointment, can you show up to speak to HR on your days off, or does it have to be when your on the clock.
Good job bro I start I think in the inbound and outbound of the docks. Anything u might be able to tell me about working on docks? Thx man Tomorrow I start at 7 pm to 4 am Friday 630 pm to 7 am, sat 630pm to 7 am. Why do u think I’m shorter tomorrow vs Friday my regular shift?
Not too familiar with inboud outbound, except for the fact they all work on the first floor, so that's a plus. And that they work on the conveyor belt. But if it is what I think it is, you will be taking items/packages off the belt and stacking them onto a pallet (inbound) or the other way around for outbound. As for the the shortened first day, this is common actually and it happened to me too and I was confused! They reduce your first day time since you are just training, and to replace that time, they pay you for the time you spent on your online orientation.
NFZ Productions thanks man . I hope first day, today gonna be good. I’m very nervous af rn. Something else confusing is my schedule with a-z says 630pm to 7 am but says my appointment time is 7pm. I gonna arrive at 630pm to be sure. Guess on first day I get badge id. Your videos were a definite plus on showing what to expect and I thank you for replying back . Happy Amazonian fellow co worker
Just be happy you didn’t get assigned to be a stower lol that job sucks. Those are the poor souls who get to put all the shit into the automated pods and have ridiculous rates to meet. I did that for the two days i slaved away at Amazon. I had to stow a fuckload of Gatorade packs and chocolates and the damn pods that pulled up either didn’t have any room or were of the wrong size. But the bastards don’t care about that. They just want you to hit numbers
Do you need a high school diploma or GED? I have neither but need the job asap. If you need one, does anyone know if they actually check for your education.
thank you for showing how much you can make at amazon i dont have a job and was thinking try to get a job there dont they have a job where that you can work from home i thought i heard something about that before
The work is hard for the pay but the upside is the ability to move up the chain. A lot of dead end jobs pay a lot more than that but as mentioned, they are dead end jobs. So while you would be starting at a much higher wage, usually in the ballpark of $21-$26 an hour, there is no room to grow. The alternative is just getting a union job which has around the same pay range but comes with the many benefits of having a union based job.
I work at Amazon and you do not make a 1k in one week that was a bonus that no longer available, don't work at Amazon thinking you will make this much because you won't
You get a pay raise every 6 months of 25 cents and base pay will depend on the state and site pay when I started 2 years ago I started at 18 ERW4 I’m a learning trainer(L3) and I make 20 now

I worked sporting events, in the cold, rain, extreme heat etc..Its being part of the team what makes it special..
thank you for this! This shows how some of us take this job for granted!
I just got a full time warehouse job at amazon I. A new warehouse they built in my city! I’m so excited to be making good money as a 20 year old! Hopefully there will be some higher job opportunities within the company.
yeah that sounds like a good idea. You can take this opportunity as a short term solution. Until you find a better job closer by!
I could deal with over $1,000 every two weeks. I do housekeeping and for the $$$ housekeepers have to do it's not worth it. This is an upgrade to what I'm doing right now and I am going to look into doing Amazon.
I know people with a degree and 40k in student debt that don't make 1400 a week!
yeah i dont doubt that, but did they work 57 hours in a week though?
Right alot of people with degrees don't get overtime

Thanks bro! Happy to help anyone I can! Good luck on your first day!

A pretty good job if you want to have the flexibility of starting your own business. I started my own business recently, and also work in an Amazon warehouse. You can accomplish a lot with 3 days off, don't have to take any work home with you, and is relatively low stress while providing a decent income. Not a bad situation!
that's super smart man! I'd have to look into doing that
You hit it right on the head!

A good way to beat the federal income tax part is to start a good cash side hustle from home and every year if you have a good tax accountant they can make it look like that you took a loss instead of gain and that way you can claim that and get a fatter federal tax return at the end of the year.

Quite noble you'll do that type of work. Tons of young people today complain about this and that. " Oh it's too hot! Too many hours! Tomorrow I start at 7 pm to 4 am Friday 630 pm to 7 am, sat 630pm to 7 am.
Make an update video since they aren’t doing COVID pay anymore! I subscribed from your Amazon tip videos
You just have to subtract the covid extra pay. But thank you for the support bro!!
The alternative is just getting a union job which has around the same pay range but comes with the many benefits of having a union based job.
interesting. Yeah this job does have room to grow if you really want it. But most people will not move up and will either get fired or quit
I work at Amazon and you do not make a 1k in one week that was a bonus that no longer available, don't work at Amazon thinking you will make this much because you won't
Exactly $650 before taxes is more likely.
You get a pay raise every 6 months of 25 cents and base pay will depend on the state and site pay when I started 2 years ago I started at 18 ERW4 I’m a learning trainer(L3) and I make 20 now
oh wow that's great!! I heard about the pay raises but was not sure if it was true or not, so thank you!
I started working at amazon last week I was wondering if I would get my paycheck this week or do they hold your first check?
you get paid the Friday after the work week ends
Awesome video !
