    Fantastic tour again , think I will pull the trigger on this one, so far its the best for town city driving for me , 6ft 2 .basic and with a good warranty. The Toyota Yaris , too small. Great explanation 5 stars

    Amazing! I hope there were mechanics like you in Italy, even if I hope I won't need it for my Jazz/Fit MK4 hybrid.
    I think you've mislead the flow direction of the air inside the battery, on Jazz which has a very very similar (just smaller) battery, the fan sucks air from the lateral grid (where I've put a sponge filer) and blows it out on the back of the rear wheel.

    Nice little runabout neat an tidy... the only thing i seen i didnt like is near those solenoid's near tranaxle there a large loom of wire un-shielded coming from harnesses, so you have heat reflection hitting that directly drying out insulation in a isolated location. with a little age bad mix.

    I like your channel Jose ! You speak plainly so that I can understand , I have a Toyota Venza , called Harrier in the rest of the world . So , I guess I am biased towards Toyota . But I always like to see the other manufacturer products. I am nota fan of GDI or dual clutch transmissions . I am surprised that Honda still has a computer operated clutch in it ! Keep up the good work. I live in Arizona , so I know heat also 😊

    thank you for this excellent video! Do you think that fitting a filter to the battery air intake like toyota would be good? I think would debris and dust overheating the cells in the long run, how would you go about that (i was thinking foam filter sheets to cut into shape)? do you think would be possible to put the filter inside the air grille passage or is it difficult to fix in place? Cheers from Italy

      @@ronin8926 Thank you for your kind reply, I agree that should be mostly good and if you keep the car even 7/8 yrs it will be still ok but maybe if someone decide to keep this car for 10+ yrs my guess would be that It's beneficial for battery health in the long run, there is a video that shows dismanling the hrv battery how much debris there is after only 2 years and trust me It's not clean, without a very restrictive filter I doubt that the airflow would be affected too much to make a difference but should be easy to check via obd Reading battery temperature stats with and without diy filter, then you need to remember to clean it a couple of times/year or the cure could become worst than the disease, check that video of the inside of the hybrid honda battery and see for yourself

    Wait a second man, so you are telling me this one is port injection? no way, I just seen the hybrid 2.0 version and it is direct injection
    In fact Honda left port injection from long time ago, only Toyota that uses and maximizes port injection that combined them with direct injection, D4-s or something they call it
    This one is definitely direct injection with electric motor-powered variable valve on intake and oil circulation on exhaust, big EV motor drives the car (and never the engine), but the engine could power and/or charge the battery while battery powering the big EV motor or directly power the big EV motor when you need more power. It has basically no tranny, but has two clutch, the low rpm's one and the high one (not the official name).
    Whole system is very reliable by design because it is using electric water pump, electric ac compressor, EPS, no alternator at all and no starter (since the small EV motor that attached to the crank starts the engine). So basically the engine has zero belt drive
    And why on 4:37, yours was mirrored?
    And why your shop ain't look like western but more like shop in southeast asia?

  • @MrPikkoz
    @MrPikkoz ปีที่แล้ว +4

    -I think the best of two worlds is what toyota uses in it's latest 2.0 NA engines : has got both GDI and port injection to achieve great efficiency and cleanliness.
    -Too bad for the HV battery that's integrated at the bottom of the boot robbing space ,in a car like like the HR-V where it should have plenty or rear room vertically it seems lazy solution in contrast of toyota or hyundai that integrate the HV battery underneath the rear seats.
    -Overall i'm quite impressed with the system , the same used in the Fit i've tried , my only gripe is the presence of the shifter that on a car mainly driven by an electric engine and no gears : it's a waste of space and money.
