This helped me out. This is a lot better visualized than the one on their wiki.
I wonder how many people actually do the monthly maintenance of taking the hot end open and wiping everything out? I’ve been in the habit of doing this and I’ve had nothing but successful print since I got this thing like four months ago.
Very few people probably do that.
Good video. No superfluous rambling. This is an excellent explanation and many thanks for posting it.
Glad it was helpful
seriously!!!
Its not going to be a problem if that filament its still there ? The cutted one thats inside
Not a problem, it's designed to do that. It'll push that filament through the nozzle next time you load a new filament.
Man the front cover is so much tighter for me than it is for others for some reason. I always fear I'll break something when taking it off.
Short, simple and precise - thank you!
Man, I've got a permanent clog in my hotend and a jam in my extruder I can fix, but maybe I'll just swap this part out!! You make it so smooth to see. Thanks!!!
Perfect. Thank you for straight to the point!
Oh my god their wiki made me go through the back and dossasemble half of the printer my gosh i cant wait to get home and switch it to a 0.2mm thank you so much!
Thanks for the simple how-to video. It's perfect for beginners like me.
Perfect video and straight to the point. Thanks!
Excellent...thorough... much appreciated...thank you!!
You’re welcome, thanks for the comment!
Press the filament cutter on the right before doing this.
Yes this may be required. In normal operation the printer will perform a filament cut at the end of each print so you usually won't have to do this.
@@3DPrintStuff I never knew that
I swapped from 0.4 to 0.2 no issues then swapped back to 0.4 and can’t get anything to stick and it’s clumping up. I swapped from Ender so I didn’t have to mess with these things lol
It's been a couple days, did you get this sorted out? Did you do a bed leveling between the prints? did you make sure to switch back to a part sliced at 0.4?
Hej jak to jest z ABS czy musze wymieniać cały hodend czy tylko dysze 😅
Question, I have an A1 Mini with all the nozzles. I just got an A1, the nozzles look the same, are they interchangeable?
Yup A1 and A1 mini nozzles are interchangeable.
Its not moving 1 mm for me...
Should you use thermal paste for the hot-end?
Not on the A1 series of printers.
Please don’t.
thanks for the video
You're welcome
Thank you

Jim?..
Jose?..
OMG. set your camera to manual focus.
what do you know about cameras?
@andreyansimov5442 more than you apparently.
@@KenLord Do you really think manual focus will allow him to catch all DoF? And what will be the picture with such a DoF. I see this autofocus as very responsive and correct.
@andreyansimov5442 seriously, this needs to have the focus set on the extruder, it felt like half the video was time waiting for the camera to focus. Then cut in close ups if needed.
I would like to see your video with camera in manual
