I've been using this alpha arbutin for almost a month now and I'm left with like 20% of the bottle. I use it every night after cleansing and will have to apply moisturizer right away after that or my face will become really stiff. I tried using it in the day once but it peels so I wouldn't recommend. Thanks Matt for always making such awesome reviews 😘😘😘
@@dliyakhan9979 my skin type is oily and I wouldnt recommend it for dry skin either. A better choice would be Dear Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop, it helped to fade my acne scars tremendously! :)

Hi Matt. I'm binge watching your videos hehe. I love TO Alpha Arbutin more than Niacinamide though because it didn't purge my skin 🤣🤣 however it's veeeeeeeery slow in fading those acne marks. But it does work over time.

I used other products to calm my skin. and then I started using Alpha Arbutin (no purge, my skin is okay with it but no major change and when I stopped using it, nothing really happen) 😂
This is a good video, but it’s highly unrealistic. No good skincare product is going to give you your optimal results after only 7 days. The purging period is also a thing as well. For this to be accurate you would of had to use it for at least a month. *edit: take it from someone who is studying this extensively to go into a career as a dermatologist

Also, when I hear you talk about the niacinamide from The Ordinary it’s shocking to me. I actually find it extremely soothing and gentle lol! I put it on right after my bath when my skin is still wet and I just find it cooling and it makes my skin feel replenished. I mix it with the Buffet though so maybe that has something to do with it? this serum breaks my skin like hell!! I didn't expect it to be the cause of this ingredients ie alpha arbutin cuz like every one else, I heard a lot of good things especially fading the hyperpigmentation. but bro this particular ingredients didn't go well with me. starts to break out on my forehead and i dont usually had!! if one or two tiny pimples are OK but brooo it becomes almost like cystic acne?? Oh my God, I was looking for this comment. I started using Alpha Arbutin a week ago and from the first use I got a lot of pimples as well, and before that I didn't have any pimples on my face, I use other products from this brand and usually my face looks good but every time I use this new one I get a new pimple. After I stop alpha arbutin, I get back to niacinamide bcos I trust it with my heart, and want to fix everything. I had breakout when I first trying niacinamide but that was like 6 years ago. as I get wiser I didn't have any inflammation. doctors here on yt said niacinamide shouldn't cause breakout but I guess it depends on people too. maybe you should try on lower percentage with other brand

Hey you tried any ordinary products? Did any of them suit you, as my skin type is exactly the same like yours also i had tried the niacinamide serum but it broke me out even more the area's which didn't brake me out before started breaking out too.
i dont know if you did this or not but you're supposed to use it with sunscreen to protect your skin during the day and it the sun creeps in you bedroom in the morning

Hello! don't use them at the same time you can use alpha arbutin and niacinamide in the morning and Retin a at night. Use too many active at the same time is not a good idea

@@Basit759 wet skin. Either don't wipe your face after washing or fill a spray bottle with water and spray it on your face to make it wet before applying hyaluronic acid serum. Then let it dry and you'll immediately notice the difference
