I know what you mean about Temu Corrine! I’ve had to delete the app as well, and only get it back if I reeeeally need something, don’t touch those spinning wheels their a trap he he. ❤

TEMU also sells craft, sewing, quilting, etc.and water colour, supplies. Prices less than half/three quarters less than Amazon. Free shipping if your total purchase is, I think, $10 or more. I've bought beads, lace & doilies and been pleasantly surprised. It takes a couple of weeks to receive your purchase. I've never had any issues with this company. I even bought my grandmother of the bride dress from them.
Thank you for mind opening ideas! Using my sock yarn for embroidery and splitting yarn!!! I have split kilometers of floss but never thought to split yarn!! Its opened a whole new rabbit hole...i always struggle to find thin yarn for fluffy embroidery. Well, i will struggle no more!❤❤❤❤❤
Never thought about doing my own embroiderys, and yes they are getting harder to find. Colouring books can also be used as patterns.
Oh, Corrine, you make me laugh! Three big packs of wool and you suspect the quality’s poor. 😂 The lure of money off! Been there, bought ALL the stuff, so I know why you got sucked in. I’ve successfully weaned myself off Temu and, like you, I’m not going back! Your British piece looks great and I love that the wee bird made the team. Instead of repairing his head, here’s a quirky thing you could do to reflect British humour - you could embroider a bowler hat on him or a sailor’s cap. 🇬🇧

Thank you Corrine for your video. Well ,what an amazing haul. I have never bought from Temu but it sounds like you would need restraint😂 with the cost of everything these days it's understandable that they are doing a roaring trade. Love the stamps as well. Not a protracted so what ink would you use on fabric? Your British themed piece is lovely and a great Union flag, it's looking very regal. I would put a jaunty hat on the bird which looks like a Trafalgar square pigeon😂

I’ve been crocheting flowers and hearts out of crochet cotton to add to my slow stitch and I dyed white and cream crochet cotton with Inktense to get variegated cottons in the colours I like for the hearts and flowers. They turned out great, I watched Christine do it on her channel. Thanks again for all the ideas.

Hi Corinne, I watch your videos all the time. I don't. I hardly ever say anything cuz I watch them on TH-cam. I've had surgeries and so it's just easier. But I had to say I just love seeing everything you've done. I mean I can't mention at all. There's too much. I just want a little bit of your mojo there's no other way to say it. You are. You're fabulous and I've watched another one where you're going to do a quilt with Rachel's prints and I think that will be awesome and I can't wait to follow you along with that. Take care 💕

Temu is addictive. I love it. Finding I’m getting orders I didn’t even notice I had ordered apparently so does my 14 year old lol. He gets Guinea pig houses blankets toys etc. lol Kate in the nest is addictive too I too had to go out (temu) but a crochet hook and now to find old tshirts. Love Becs neon zips.

Great hauls! Love your Lisa Kelly project. Was thinking about your patch piece. What if you turn it sideways and put the roof on the patch on a different side of the patch so you could have it go vertical and the flowers would be the right way up?!

Hey Corrine, exciting stuff. My experience with Temu is "you need to always check the size of what you are buying". You wouldn't believe my first order of really tiny stuff that I thought was going to be much bigger. What a dingy! 😄 Loved today's video, so much great info. I can't wait to start your project. It's not like I don't already have a zillion others to finish. HAHA Thanks for the crochet pattern, it's really great.

Ah Temu yep I shop, got cottons like you did only thing is these are inclined to knot so pull one thread out at a time this tops it a little but will knot, I find it’s on reds, pink and well let’s not talk about purple. Blues not so bad, one white knots to end knots talk about crazy, also had a knot in skein never come across this but well supper cheep I got what I brought. Aww so many pretty’s and free crochet patterns such a deal today. Wonderful video and I love the British piece and your little houses how cute.

I’ve certainly heard news reports about Temu stealing information. Watch your bank accounts. I also think they’ve stolen art from artists and reproduce it and sell it really cheap. (I’m not judging, just sharing what I’ve heard).
An idea, take that large (gorgeous) skein of Merino Nylon and break it down by color into smaller skeins.
Oooo, love your flower scarf. I hope you decide to do it on camera. I think your Dc and other stitches are different for you than here in the US.
I have heard the same things.. it’s a nasty world out there when it comes to scams!

I love Temu. . . Welcome to our world. LOL 🤣😆 Corrine, if you buy something and the price goes lower, then you just go to the customer service section and ask for a credit/refund. I apply for credits quite often.
