I have watched this video at least 10 times. ill be doing this project by myself and I want to make sure that I am well prepared and follow every step that yall made. I didnt see yall use primer, is that because yall used the Grinder so the primer wasnt needed? or would you still recommend using primer?
Aww, thanks for watching! You are courageous! We did not use primer because of the grinding process. The grinder is HEAVY though. You’ll likely need help to get it off the truck. You want the paint to adhere to the concrete after that step. If you are going to drive your car inside I recommend car mat strips. My husband purchased some three months afterwards bc I notice a small piece of paint on my tire from the hot wheels. So I just drive on the strips. The other side of the garage has a lot of yard items on them without any issue. There’s a small clip in my Fall 2024 video where I joke that I can’t provide an update video bc the garage is never clean. LOL! I am going to link the strips in the video in case you need them. My husband cleans the floor with a Bona Mop from time to time. Other than that, the floor still looks great!
It still looks the same. If you plan to park in there add a few strips to protect the floor from hot wheels. We plan to clean our garage out soon. Maybe I’ll do a follow-up video.

It does not require maintenance. My husband cleans it with a bona mop when needed. We did add a couple of car mats on one side since one vehicle parks inside. The color is a preference but we love the black floor. We received a lot of compliments from our neighbors.

Will the anti slip coat help last long as my epoxy started peeling after few months
Oh no! Did you use the grinder? We’ve had our for 1.5 yrs thus far. The anti slip just ensures no one falls from a slippery floor.
