Usually I’m not a fan of hearing people talk during a recipe video (I’m weird, I know 😂) but your personality makes you so nice to listen to I really enjoyed it. Thank you for the recipe!
Followed your recipe and they came out fantastic! One step I added was to deep fry (you could probably also air fry) the potatoes for 5 or 6 minutes at 375 degrees after hollowing out the shells. Makes the skins extra crispy!
I am shocked that I actually found a video that I had all of the ingredients including the lemon pepper. I’m in the process of baking them right now. Can’t wait. Thank you.
They do look absolutely delish, girl. I never order potato skins at restaurants but if they looked like these, I totally would. I may have to try your recipe. Thanks for sharing!
Oh my goodness! I have been wanting to make potato skins but just haven't found the right recipe. This one is perfect! Love it! Thank you so much for this wonderful recipe. 👍👍👍🤗
I made these they were great I use a salt substitute and garlic powder and soak Canadian beacon in cold water and then use a salt substitute Only complaint i have not enough sour cream
I usually bake bacon at 350. Put it in a cold oven and let them heat up together and kinda keep an eye on it. That way it renders fat and doesn't burn. I set a timer for 15 minutes and then try to keep an eye on it
I steam the potatoes for about 15 - 30 minutes, while that's steaming I cook my bacon and prepare my toppings, once they're cooked I cut them in half and scoop out some flesh but leave some like you did 😉 just to make a hole so the toppings don't slide off, then I put bbq sauce, cheese, bacon bits, and chives or green onions and put it to broil and then they're ready ❤️
I saw an even better way a few days a go yo cook bacon. Get your tinfoil fold it like you would a fan, then put it on the tray spread out slightly so you have triangle ridges, the bacon is placed on the triangle ridges so when baked in the oven the fat drips down to the tray away from the bacon.
You added no bake time nor did you say the bake the potato skin open side down once you cut them with butter, but yeah that’s just how I do it but you didn’t include any bake times except the first initial bake time
I just did a #10lb bag of skins for my son & his family of four...whenever I watch the kids I always like to leave something for mom & dad when they get home...I pretty much did the same thing except I made some pulled pork to go on top of it...my d.i.l. ate 3 of em as soon as she got home!!!

Is it better to let it cool down before removing the flesh?
No
Lemon pepper has a chokehold on the entire black species

OOOOWWWWEEEE!!!!
I love to use bacon

Easy peezy lemon squeezy
Why not mix the bacon and more cheese in with the potato you scooped out and put it back in so they don't look so empty?
That would be twice baked potatoes I believe.🙂
@@amerikeet exactly but I didn't know if they knew
Not enough cheese!!!!!!
😂😂😂

Slice the potatoes is half by slicing DOWN. ISE A FORK OR TONGS to make the temp safer to handle......you showed a GREAT way to burn and cut yourself
possibility of jagging your hand with fork
Chives ARE green onions
why the hell would you need a cooling rack if youre cooking them on the rack already?? wtf?
Rest (God?)
Deff not enough cheese to overcome the taste of lemon pepper
I fart a lot after skins
Sometimes I fart on the potato skins after I make ‘em to give a little extra flare
@@stevew278 now that’s sexy
Why you put a rack on a rack? Lol
That way you can take all of them out of the oven at once, and move them to your work surface.
An edgy virge?
The video is way too long,
Never wrapped a potato in her life! 🤣😂🤣 But it's still a fire recipe! 😉🥳🤪🤪
