Brace yourselves for the epic conclusion to the Santa the Barbarian Saga. This chapter finds our anti-hero battling the coming of spring to create his kingdom of eternal winter! Combining themes from Vivaldi's Spring and Winter, as well as Dies Irae, Deck the Halls, Jingle Bells, Up on the Housetop, Oh Christmas Tree, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas, this dramatic work for band and narrator is sure to be a highlight of your winter concert! Ho, Ho, HOOOOOOOO!
If you enjoy this one, be sure to check out part 4, Son of Santa the Barbarian! th-cam.com/video/M2C09NgPjms/w-d-xo.html
All the band teachers still question if Randy PURPOSELY added so many "ho ho hos" just to have the band teachers ask "where my hos at"...
My band teacher did the same thing to us
My band director was like “guys for Christmas I want more hos from yall I like them loud”
Bro my band teacher said you need to do the hos in the right places
What the fook did I just read in the last two replies😢😢😢
@Birdyyy-sq5xs ok but the thing is my band teacher didn't even notice he said it till we all started being dirty about it
LETS GOOOOO. THANK YOU FOR DROPPING A THIRD ONE. I HAVE TO SHOW THIS TO MY BAND TEACHER BECAUSE WE WERE PLANNING TO DO THE FIRST TWO SANTA OF THE BARBARIANS NEXT SCHOOL YEAR (And we're doing mechanical monsters this spring concert) SO THANKKK YOUUUUU. YOU ARE BEST COMPOSER!!!
Thank you very much! I hope it is as much fun to play as it was to write
LETSS GOOOOO. THANK YOU FOR DROPPING A THIRD ONE. IM GOING TO SHOW THIS TO MY BAND TEACHER.
@@ityaboichipz7306we definitely don’t have same band teacher
Definitely
the second one is sooooo good
The best way I can explain this is by saying Santa as an Elden Ring boss.
I mean...you're not wrong. The original inspiration came one day when I was playing "Elder Scrolls: Skyrim." I thought as a joke "What would Santa's Shout be?" Of course, it would be "Ho! Ho! Ho!"
@@randallstandridge That would be perfect!🤣
Makin it out of the North Pole with this one 🔥🔥🔥
If you put all of the parts together, this could make a spectacular marching band show.
I love the dies irae Melody you added, it really adds a vibe of warfare to a part thats less dramatic!
My kids will definitely love to play this! We did the second last December. Amazing work as always! Love and music ❤️🎶
Thank you, Morgan!
It’s a 10/10
Thank you. I tried to go BIG for the last one.
We’re playing this at our winter concert!! We’ve done the whole trilogy. Proud percussionist 💜💛
As a euphonium player, these songs are some of my favs. Thanks you for creating this trio of masterpieces.
I remember playing this, one of the most thrilling experiences I’ve had while playing trombone
You have no idea how happy this comment makes me. I have always tried to make sure my low brass parts are interesting to help with student enthusiasm and development. Thank you!
He should make a symphony out of the 3 Santa the barbarian and called it “The Chronicles of Santa the barbarian” and changed up some of the music😂
bro im playing this in band rn and im on the bass drum part and i love it we did the pirates of the north pole last year and the first one the year before that but i was in beginning band that year so i didnt play it
Omg I’m exited to probably play this in band next year we have already played both songs last year both. Our concert band did the regular one and our varsity did the pirates of the North Pole
yes we did it was amazing bru
@@zayahissomuchmorebetterthanyou FR I can’t wait to play it with you this year
I play flute from 4th grade and im in 8th rigjt now and im doong tjis song i have done part 2 now this one
I play the chimes in this and i love it! But lol “with apologies by Randall D. Standridge” makes me laugh every time. and at the end it says “no percussionist were hard in the making of this video”
Come here from the first Santa the barbarian, absolutely love it. Love how it has some parts from Santa the barbarian
As the only tuba player and no Bari sax my nerves are high for the first part of the song
just plow through it its so fun to play
Best fuking song ever along with 1 and 2. rip rudolf.🫡
I’m so excited to play this December 12th. I’m first chair 2nd alto sax. My band director, Todd Mitchel loves your work. We’ve played all three peices of your Santa The Barbarian songs. It’s fun, engaging and barbaric!!!!
My band directors director was Randall standridge
This is such an incredible piece. Our 7th grade band played it this year, and all my classmates loved it. 2:30 just hits different
yeah it’s when you get into that really fast part it supposed to change it for you and excite you about what’s gonna happen and build suspense
My 8th grade band is playing it and just all of the switches from powerful brass parts to light airy parts with the woodwinds and then to big percussion hits and ascents is just the best expecally when all 3 are combined
My daughters band teacher was talking about how the santa the Barbarian series would be a good marching band show. Lol
Now we need a #4
We’re playing this for our winter concert and OH MY GOD THE 2ND CLARINET PART IS SO AMAZING
OMG IT IS! I don’t play it, I play the flute part, but the clarinets who play the second clarinet part play it beautifully and it sounds SOO GOOD!
Fr tho
US TOO OMG
IM PLAYING IT TOO! IM PLAYING THE CHIMES PART
@@Rose-Chan THERES A CHIMES PART!?!?
very big W
Thank you!
We're playing this for the Christmas concert and I'm so excited
I'm a barbarian and I approve of this music
I just played this for our Christmas concert. I only got the most boring instruments, not even a single keyboard percussion. I was in charge of the cymbals for two songs and the sandpaper blocks for the other
LETS GO THE 3RD ONE
4 Christmas nightmares. Good job man

playing chimes is so painful 😭
Dawg I play chimes and the narration

I have a question did you put in a small part of pandora in there at measures 56 and 57
The notes used on 56-57 are in pandora and are known as (the notes of death) used mainy in (The Shining)
I'm playing two of your songs we are going to zoom you in January my band
only excuse to play christmas music in my spring concert
my band director said were gonna play this song for our winter concert😄😄we played santa the barbarian last year and we played a lot of songs made by this dude theyre so fun to play lol
Same, I can't wait for my winter concert
@@Kyroisstupid yeahh this year is gonna be my last winter concert for middle school🥲🥲
@@takiyoshiii Same!
we’re playing it too, the problem is that there’s a lot of new students in our band class that don’t know how to play so it’ll take a while to learn it
PLAYING THIS FOR MY WINTER CONCERT ITS SO GOOD‼️
Just did a concert yesterday my band at school my friend caleb voiced the speaking part my band teacher Mr Wieben directed it.
If there was a movie called santa the barbarian and all three of these pieces of santa the barbarian were in it i would watch it
I'm a trombonist and I love playing so bad and I even brought it an octive lower cause I'm now bass trombone of my band and OH MY GOD it makes it 999x better holy moly
10/10
I played the toms for this and it’s so fun
If you make a 4th one please add a bari sax part
he sadly cannot, as in the description, he stated something about how this third one is a conclusion to the trilogy
will there be a fourth one?
We play this December 4 2023
My schools advanced band is playing this for the winter concert and it is my favorite one we are playing it, and it always sounds so good with all of the parts together!
Yes we convinced our band director to play this since the adv band played the first one last year and somehow we missed the second one 🤫
I just finished my schools winter band concert, which means I have performed all three of the Santa the Barbarian song, each of them are absolutely wonderful!! (The Dies Irea is one of the coolest musical elements I’ve ever gotten to play!)
My life is now complete after all 3
We did the second one last year!! We are playing this this year and ITS SO GOOD!!!! TY FOR MAKING THIS
Randall is underrated. Seriously. These pieces are AMAZING. Playing this one with my 8th band. Keep it up man.

My school performed this for our Christmas concert, we were so sad when we found out it was the finale.
My class uses your warmups.
I loved this song so much on our (SMS) winter concert

Ah, an almighty classic being brought back yet again; I like this one
Hey, I'm voicing the narrator in our winter concert for this, so (if you don't mind!) do you have any tips for the part?
