I'm not ashamed to say that I want to kiss everyone involved with the restoration and did not give into rodding or even resto-moding this rare and beautiful piece of 1930's art-deco. The icing on the cake was avoiding whitewalls. This is exactly how the designers intended this car to look. You turned what was once and econo-car to a piece of pure eye-candy. I salute you all.

Beautiful car, well worth the money spent on the restoration. For all the critics, a rodded Willys is a beautiful thing also. A late friend of mine had a 37 with a 40 clip. It was a B/gas record holder in the late 60's. We ran it with a tube chassis and used one of the 426 Hemi's it came with (3) with the 60's Hilborn injector it ran with in the 60's. Unfortunately he died it it in a crash at the strip in the late 80's. RIP Tommy

I remember the family car that we all drove growing up in the early 1970's it was 1967 Ford Fairlane !! Of course it's long gone but I think of the times when each of us learned to drive in it and then all the great times driving it to high school, etc.

When a vehicle is complete, except the headlight, and has a wonderful provenance there is only one direction it has to go. A complete OEM restoration. Sure, if it was a shell or wreck then drop in whatever grossly large engine (for the sake of installing a grossly large engine) and Jaguar this and Mustang that. But, in an original condition it just too rare to modify. Thanks for keeping such great documentation of the project.

These are the kind of cars that America needs today to get young people driving. Low cost, simple; with modern tech; a car like this could be within reach of young buyers and bring back a "fun to drive" factor. The family must be VERY proud.
