He did this song justice and like Zeppelin, he had a rocking and soulful genius. Can you imagine Buckley and Plant together? The stuff Plant did with Allison Krauss was totally groovy and won Grammys These guys together coulda ripped the roof off. Nice to dream or visualize sometimes.........
@nasratfatty You are correct. I made the mistake. It's not from Sin-é. I also have this particular bootleg. For anyone else, the version nasratfatty is talking about is available on youtube. Just search Jeff Buckley NIght Flight and it should be the first result. Matches perfectly with this version sans the inclusion of the bass and drums.
Its just so.......Buckley. kind of a soulful version. Not better of course but definitely good. Good choice of a cover. Besides, what'd you want him to do? Stairway to Heaven? RIP brother
A lot of unnecessary hate here, sure it's not Jeff but it's still pretty cool, kinda like the halfway point between Zep and Jeff's versions. I for one like the bluesy feel to this, the drums and bass really give it some... oomph
okay, i need the truth to stand in the middle here: sounds to me like the guy added drums and bass himself in an overdubbing program on his laptop and did an okay job. Not bad. or this is real...i am going to listen to the sine version and compare the vox first thing. So what is the word on this?
This guy was a genius. No words❤
Don't understand all the hate this gets because it's not a real band playing behind him, I like it. Brings all these Columbia recordings alive
Thanx for creating this. Sounds very interesting. really dig the addition of the organ.
is fantastic, im led zep fan and its an amazing cover. now im jeff fan.

Uffff. Excelente. Que interpretación. Wau.
He really does this song great.
nasratfatty is right, this is overdubbed. The original recording is Buckley and his guitar
its fake of course, drums, organ and bass are added later, but its interesting to hear nonetheless

I'll take it over another Hallelujah any day
I'd love an mp3 of this track, I like the overdubbs
they released a few months ago an LP called "You and I", available on iTunes.. this song is in there, just a demo though ;)
Where'd you get this version from?
RIP💖

THIS IS WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SONG SOUNDS LIKE WHEN IT IS CASTRATED.
So, is this a dubbed outtake done by the band after Jeff's death during their polishing of Sketches? :o
no, it's a dubbed outtake done by some fans much later, from what I got

@SMooney1975 No they aren't. The vocals are different and the guitar is nothing like the Sin-é version.
This still isn't bad...
Sandra Curran , still working¡
I wish someone would post the sin-e version.

This version is a fake. Buckley's vocal and guitar playing are from the Sin-é version.
@ctgatorful peace.
C'mon guys...this isn't so bad.
Douchay. Ahahaha. The other version is blocked :(
I don't get whats going on
The vocals are from outtakes he did while he was recording the Grace album. Someone overdubbed the grammar school talent contest music under it. Fail.
if JB scored porno music...
i'll take that guitar only the way he's holding it as well
Yeah overdub.
Not That Bad ....
great Zeppy vocals - bad music... weird cuz I worship Jeff like he's a god, haha
OMG this is freaking awfull ! blasphemous !
What is poor cover
