And you can part-install Google stuff yourself. Google Maps can be side-loaded. Chrome? Firefox. Play Store? Aurora Store. TH-cam? Revanced. Gmail? Another Email app. Android Auto? Buy a dedicated Android box for your car.

Huawei giving all accessories in today's time is a big deal.
Sucks they where banned in America. Although im sure we will see samsungs version of it next year and it will probably be the same price at about 2800. Sad as samsung will not offer all the extras that come with this. Other have done full unboxing and it comes with 2 usb cables a wall charger and a car charger. The wall charger is 66 watts and the car is 88. Then its comes with there newest headphones. Its crazy that Samsung will charge the same for there version with out giving us any extras.
I doubt Samsung will do this. They can't even get their folds to have a slimmer profile like the Chinese foldables. There's no way they'll develop a trifold that will have this price point

Also they do this on purpose. They dont have major competition here in the states for fold phones other then really the pixal fold. So there taking there time. But it will show up. Shit they have there patents already for a tri fold they also have one for a folding 12 inch tablet which im sure will come out soon to. When one does it everyone fallows.

I was skeptical about the point of a tri-fold, but it does actually make more sense than a bi-fold (disregarding price). The utility value/increase of opening to an actual tablet size screen is a lot greater, and the aspect ratio when fully extended is much better, esp for videos where a lot of increased size goes to waste in bi-folds (+ bi-folding still remains an option).
There is no way this will beat Apple IPhone 16 new innovative action button!

Looks amazing but that thing will break in less than a year, it has an exposed plastic OLED screen that's super fragile. There's a reason Huawei stopped producing outer folding phones. That one button that they put above the pocket of jeans will definitely do some serious damage to it. Most folding screens are around $1000 to replace, I don't even want to know how much this one will cost. I think there was one Xiaomi tri fold prototype that hat the whole screen folded inwards with a second glass screen on the outside for regular use, and that seems like a much better idea for a consumer level product.

I thought of that too. But by looking at the case, it should somehow protect the edge. Just can't imagine how it works. So far no one is showing how the case work. I am curious to know 😂

Honestly never been tempted by foldables as they're so expensive for what is rather unnecessary. However with a tripping of real estate and a real smartphone and tablet in one, this is very interesting. Price needs to come down but this is only gen 1.

Huawei phones can install GOOGLE, and there are professional personnel to provide cracking services. It only costs $15. My phone is MATE60, and I can install all GOOGLE APPs

it runs with Harmony os 4.2 now which is mixed with Android and Harmony os, but it will switch to HarmonyOS purely in the future.

There is a reason that no other company makes a phone with the soft, foldable screen on the exterior. From reports coming in, the durability of this phone is terrible. Many are breaking in under a week. This is NOT a phone you want to carry around in your pocket.
