Hi there Brent, great rebuild project. I’m so, so confused on the best miniature crawler. I’m looking for a crawler of the smaller scale, as I’ve had my fingers burnt a bit with the WPL product, so dubious. I’ve seen the FCX24 and the SCX24 from FMS and Axial, seen also your TRX4m too….but there is also the FTX 1/16 range too, seem to offer valve for money, so confusing. Best wishes 😊😊😊

Hello John yes there are so many choices for micro crawling I usually recommend a Axial Scx24 because of parts availability and so many different models to choose from and they preform great

Nice video and great timing. I ordered one of these the other day and haven't seen a swap with the stock electronics yet. I got tired of the stock body so I am going to try the Jconcepts '78 Chevy K10 body with it. I'm hoping a lighter and more balanced body will give the FCX a performance boost

@@AdventureTimeRC you won't like them. If an item is listed you can rgister for an email when it's in stock. But not place an order. German online shops aren't nice, okay you get every Tamiya screw, but small manufactors are rare. I can buy it in Nam, but shipping and customs is annoying. Same problem with parts for the Clod. Or I have to dig deeper and find a little one selling these stuff.

Oh man! The crawler faller course claimed its first victim! It must have hit square on that corner, bummer. But you you got to try out a cool new chassis! It looks great and I like the integrated magnet mounting braces. That is pretty cool and they looked super strong! I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the body!
