I'm from Germany and I wasted my time with german videos about that topic. I'm so glad that I came across your video you explained it perfectly, thanks you really helped me out.😊
Thank you so much Professor Wolters, this helped a lot for my finals! I didn't even know that "the marketing mix" was the 4 P's, I thought they were 2 different things.
honestly, i went to youtube school lol 😅 thank you so much for this, i'm an online university student and all my materials are all written so some things r harder to understand. videos like these really help me. this was so easy and interesting and i don't even like economics lol. thank you!
WOW! I'm going to Turks and Caicos in a few days so I was watching some of your videos on what to pack last night and for my college business class my professor posted this link to watch and I see you again lol
Very helpful. Excited your upcoming videos! Also, could you give tips on how to promote your business in a newer or rapidly changing industry? I recently started a business in home staging in live in rural-ish IL. Most people in the Midwest haven’t heard of home staging. (FYI- home staging is a service where your property is decorated to highlight the best aspects of your home in a way that appeals to a wider market in order to gain more on your asking price and sell your home more quickly than other properties on the market.) Home staging is just as common as a home inspector in the coastal states but not yet well known out by me. The market is slowly making its way to the Midwest so I wanted to get ahead of the game and get started. My biggest hurdle seems to be marketing myself for services that people don’t realize that they need them or want to pay for. (Why would you want to pay for something you’ve never heard of???)
It is called an unknown product or ubsought product. That is an issue for sure. My wife and a friend of hers had the same conversation about home staging and lack of awareness around us in Illinois as well. I will get to topics like this eventually. That is a more advanced topic that I will be covering in the spring/winter semester. Trying to get a lot of the basics out first for the course then will have more in depth videos coming.
Professor Wolters, I has problems! I'm getting into multi-level marketing and my company has great stuff. But I'm an artist, poet, singer/song-writer, author - and to top it off, I'm fascinated with economics. I've been around the world twice but as a street-singer on an average annual income of two to three thousand dollars, by using science to extend my buying power. What I want to do is - besides the fact that I'm now 73 and need to pay the bills etcetera - be a king-maker using the product and down-line to improve peoples' lives and eventually use business to render services to communities and get back to traveling, only this time using business visas and arriving at each destination with a visible means of support. But the big problem is, I work the cold market and talk to lots of people, but for some reason they don't believe me. Is there some de-mystification for the network-marketing and multi-level marketing part-timers like me who don't come by marketing naturally?
Red Spice must have watched your video on the four Ps. They had body wash that said volcano and another that said deep sea. I'm a huge fan of lava and the deep sea. They nailed their demographic of a guy in Utah that loves extreme adventures and wants to smell fresh while doing those activities. It was a pretty much shut up and take my money. Price, promotion, and price was well done that day.
Me: "Dad, how much did you pay to go to college for marketing?" Dad: "About $75 ,000" "How much are you paying for to learn about marketing?" Me: "Nothing...it's free on TH-cam"

You need something that will establish your legitimacy. Developed website. Social media. Stuff like that.

Hi Summer School
Hi
Me:
"Dad, how much did you pay to go to college for marketing?"
Dad:
"About $75 ,000"
"How much are you paying for to learn about marketing?"
Me:
"Nothing...it's free on TH-cam"
weird how that works
